IT TURNS OUT, THEY DIDN'T REALLY NEED THE PIXIE DUST TO TRAVEL BACK TO NARNIA. Younri had the power to think of the place where she wanted to be and teleport there, her imagination was so powerful that the young witch was able to bring everyone back to Narnia.
Tewkesbury was more than relieved when he saw Kate return with Caspian, a literal huge smile escaping his lips. Jareth, on the other hand, gave her a simple cheeky wink-like the mischievous elf he was.
"The Princess and the King of Narnia has returned!"
Cheers erupted from the once gloomy castle, and everyone was celebrating their arrival. Trumpkin gave her a tight hug-which is unusual for a grumpy dwarf-but the Princess wasn't complaining, Trufflehunter, too, gave her a hug. Of course the others were warmly welcomed too; afterall, they brought home their beloved Princess safely.
It was a day to remember, honestly. Jareth, Tewkesbury, Tinkerbell, and Kate were too excited to tell the tale of their adventure to the King, all speaking in unison while feasting on proper food this time, not just wild berries and fruits.
Maybe a few stolen glances were shared by the Princess and the Lord.
Soon, it was bedtime. Everyone had said their goodnights and Kate practically dragged Younri to her chambers, asking for the witch to tell her more stories about her parents.
"Can you tell me more, Younri? Please?" Kate pleaded, tucked in her huge bed comfortably.
Younri chuckled, seated beside the Princess' laying figure, "What else is there to share, your majesty? I may have told you everything about Nicholas and Aliana already." At this, Kate pouts, "I told you not to call me that. I have a name you know, and I'm sure it isn't 'your majesty'," she teases.
"Right, my apologies, Aurora. I just got used to calling you that," Younri sharply inhales and smiles, analyzing the Princess' features that reminded her of her old friend so much, "I...I just wish I was there with her. Aliana was the greatest friend I could ever ask Aslan for."
Kate smiled too, reaching for her hand to squeeze, "You didn't know, don't blame yourself."
Sighing shakily, Younri nods her head, trying to erase the heavy feeling of guilt. The Princess' eyes transferred to her still purple hair, the smile turning into a smirk, "You should've told me you were a witch! That would make everything much cooler. And you look stunning with purple hair, really. I'm sure men would fall on your feet."
