Aurora's POV:
Dad walked towards the door and gently opened it ready to attack whoever was in it
But when he opened it we saw nothing
Dad looked down and saw that it was my shoe box that fell
"It was this" he told me handing me the box
"Oh I must have put it in earlier but it was probably hanging off the edge" I said a smiled but slightly panicked as I still didn't see Derek
"Oh well get some rest because you're not going to school tomorrow" he told me
"What! Why?" I asked confused
If I can't go to school then I don't get to go to the party and Lydia will be disappointed and I don't want to see Lydia when she's disappointed
She scares me
"Because darling your soulmate mark on your arm is glowing which means you've found your soulmate and didn't tell me!" He said pointing his finger in my face
I looked down at my arm and realized he was talking about the arrow one
"What does that have to do with me not going to school?" I asked him trying to get him off my back about me not telling him about Allison
"Well little devil, if you found your soulmate and there's a party tomorrow cuz it's Friday and we all know Lydia is in charge of the party because we'll it's Lydia" he said
"Can you get to the point?!" I said trying to rush him so I can focus more on finding Derek
"Right! Well since you've found them we must go shopping for some makeup and get you some new shoes because darling your choice of clothing is horrendous at the moment" he started
"And since I already know Lydia has an outfit for you because well uh hello it's Lydia, all we have to get is some stuff for your hair and something to match your dress" he FINALLY finished
I smiled at him sweetly. "Thanks dad I really appreciate it but I really am tired and should get some rest" I told him yawning
"Agreed darling" he said kissing my head
"Goodnight little devil" he told me
"Good night dad" I told him and put the blanket over me as he walked out the door
As I heard him go into his own room and the heard him lock the door I sprang up from my bed and ran towards the closet
"Derek?" I whispered
"Are you there?" I whispered again
As I started pushing all the clothes around looking for my mate I spotted something

How come I never noticed it until now
I mean it is in MY room so why the hell did I just notice it?
