Me being born wasn't supposed to happen
It was only supposed to be hope. Well, that's the N*kl**s used to say.
I wasn't the golden child.
I wasn't perfect enough for kl**s or H*yl*y. I wasn't smart enough. I wasn't powerful enough for them.
But that changed.
And hearing peter talk about our mates made me feel so happy that all those thoughts about my bio family fly away
I was happy. And that's all that mattered
"So, there's Loki. He's a God. A hot one as you know-" Peter was saying still I cut him off
"WAIT! LOKI IS OUR MATE?!??" I yelled but no one could hear us as I put a spell around us.
To people it looked like we were having a nice conversation but really that was just the imagine I wanted them to see.
He laughed at my reaction. "Yeah. You'll be surprised who else is one of our mates" he told me and winked
"Who is it?!" I asked eagerly
"I can't answer that sweetheart. I'll only tell you about Loki." Peter told me
"I know everything about Loki. I have posters of him on my walls in my room. I also know that when he was 'taking over' New York. He was also getting mind controlled" I told him
"And how would you know that?" He asked with his eyebrow raised
"I just do.... Not like I used magic to go in his mind or anything..." I said sheepishly
"YOU WHAT?!" Peter yelled
"I'm joking. Calm down, I wouldn't do that without the person permission" I told him which wasn't a lie. I wouldn't go in someone's mind without asking them
Peter looked at me with a look that he didn't believe me but then laughed
"The reason I'm not telling you about the other mate I met is because they told me that they want to surprise you." He told me
"Can you give me a hint tho?" I asked well more like begged him
"Hmm I don't think soooo" He cooed smiling at me
I cursed under my breath
"Ok now that I told you about one of our mates tell us about our others that you met" Peter told me
"Well," I clapped my hands and taking a deep breathe "There's Allison and Derek. Allison is the sweetest thing you'll meet. She's so adorable when she's shy. She also blushes a lot. But don't let her fool you, I heard her talking to one of the students at our school and damn does that girl know how to shut people up" I told him smiling at the memory
