To all my readers out there (if there is still anybody left) I would like to say thank you for your continuous support amidst my poor publishing and hiatus. I know my flaws as an author, and I acknowledge that. But to see this story getting more and more readers, as well as more readers who added my story to their reading list. It ignited the fire back in me to continue writing this story.

I hope you will continue to support but I won't make any promises to update the chapters frequently. I have to let you know that I'm now a second-year college student, taking up a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology. My major subjects are always taking up my time and I am now prioritizing my sleep and health.

With that being said, I will try my best to update new chapters now and then since I've hold onto these drafts for so long. I can't promise when, but I will definitely update a new chapter. I hope you guys understand and please do leave a comment in every chapter, I'll appreciate it ^^

Note to all readers:
'--' - means a new POV
'ʕಠ_ಠʔ' - means continuation of the POV but in a different scene or a fast-forward scene

[Note: After a careful review, I will combine chapters 1 and 2. Enjoy reading!]~

A good daughter should always listen to her mother.

A good daughter should always obey her mother's rules.

A good daughter shouldn't speak back to her mother.

A good daughter should always respect her mother's decisions.

A good daughter shouldn't lie to her mother.

A good daughter should be forever indebted to her mother.

That is what my mother had told me eleven years ago and up until now I still follow her sayings. Kahit na nakakasuka, sinusunod ko parin to satisfy her, my mother.

Yung mother ko... she's the type na unappreciative. Na parang hindi siya masaya na naisilang ka at nabuhay sa mundong ito. She always keep a strict, and stern look everytime na uuwi siya dito sa bahay.

I understand na na-iistress siya sa pagmanage ng isang malaking kompanya our family owned. Ngunit not once in my life did she smile and appreciate me. She's not proud of me at all. Lalong-lalo na nang nalaman niyang sumali ako ng club in middle school.

I am homeschooled since preschool up to the present. My father, he's a professional baseball player and part of the national team. My eyes always gleamed in shine as I watched his live plays on TV. He's a pitcher, a high paid pitcher. He always appeared on every sports magazines and TV advertisements.

Every time he came home, he always greeted me with a big bear hug which I always love. My father taught me baseball when I was in third grade. He honed my skills every time we practiced in our backyard.

He taught me all the positions but there's only two positions that caught my attention, that is the clean-up hitter and the pitcher. He taught me how to properly grip a bat and how to adjust your grip on the bat for different pitches. He taught me all the different pitches too!

My father is so proud of me by learning it quickly and so he continued to hone my skills until I reached middle school. I'm still homeschool but the difference ay sumali ako ng club, baseball club. I only went to school for the practices and scrimmages against another school.

Thinking back about it, I couldn't help but laugh.

Naaalala ko parin ang mga gulat at hindi kapani-paniwalang mga ekspresyon ng mga kalaban namin when they saw me. They thought it was a joke! A girl... playing baseball?? That's what they thought all the time. Like how a girl like me stand on the same ground like them. Like how I walked into a man's den.
