"We'll now begin the 89th National High School Championship, the Tokyo Tournament of East and West!!!" The commentator commended. All schools participating are lining up vertically, with their team captain standing in front, holding a cardboard with their school name written on it.

The loud young brunette pitcher gasped in awe as he got surprised by the number of schools participating this year's Summer Qualifiers. "Ohhh! What a mass of people!"

The younger Kominato who stood behind the brunette pitcher speak, "That's because the opening ceremony assembles everyone from the East and West." He explained, "The semi-finals of the East district will be held here at Jingu. The first goal is to return here."

"260 schools in total this year. In the short period of 3 weeks, what remains will be two schools as representatives!" Announced by the commentator.

Planning to revive their honor as a powerhouse. Seidou High School starts its summer.

Meanwhile, from the Seidou's line, a certain tall first year pitcher feels dizzy. "HEY... WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Yelled by another first year brunette pitcher. "IT'S ALREADY CRAMPED, SO STAND PROPERLY!"

"Somehow..." The monster rookie started, "all these people make me feel dizzy..."

"JUST HOW LOW IS YOUR STAMINA!?"

After other announcements were said and done, the players started to get out of the stadium and the schools who have a match today remains inside.

Seidou's already outside the stadium when they noticed their upcoming school rival, Inashiro Industrial. The team's platinum blonde pitcher exclaimed in fear and surprised as he saw Tanba, hiding behind Masa. "Ahhh~!! T-Tanba-san went bald from the shock of that dead ball!

"Don't hide behind me..." The huge catcher growled in annoyance at the blonde pitcher, he then turn his attention to Seidou. "I got a cold sweat back then but it seems it wasn't so serious."

"OF COURSE! TANBA'S FACE IS HARDER THAN STEEL! Like it would lose to a hard ball." The certain loud bearded senpai retorted in aggravation.

"His fist is like a rice-cracker." The team's captain added.

"No, that'll break..." The team's sharp tongue'd pink haired senpai retorted back to the captain.

"JUST LOOK FORWARD TO PLAY WITH US!" The bearded senpai exclaimed.

"You're all so energetic..." Claimed by Inashiro's main catcher. Meanwhile, the blonde pitcher's attention got caught by an upcoming three players. One was helping a tall pitcher to walk, while the shortest one guide them.

"FURUYA, WALK ON YOUR OWN!" Yelled by the brunette pitcher habang akay-akay the tall pitcher who has depleted stamina.

"Impossible...." Furuya retorted weakly.

"Want some water?" The young Kominato offered.

"Furuya?" The blonde pitcher mutters, he has a pure look of horror etched on his face. "Eww---! That's Furuya!? His eyes are pure white!

"Ah~ THE BLONDIE FROM INAJITSU. YOU'RE HERE TO GET INFO OUT OF US AGAIN!?" Exclaimed by the young brunette pitcher, pointing an accusatory finger at him.
