"I'm sorry for calling all of you urgently here." Salita ng head coach ng Seidou, none other than Coach Kataoka.
He gathered all players inside the indoor practice ground dahil may importante siyang i-aanunsyo sa kanila. Lahat nagtungo except Kat who fell asleep as soon as they went back to the school.
"I gathered all of you here to say something important." Salita ni Coach Kataoka.
"Chris, Chris got injured and he will have rehab for a year before he could come back."
After announcing this news ay nagulat halos lahat ng mga players. Lalong-lalo na si Miyuki Kazuya. Bumuhos ang mga samu't saring mga komento ng mga players tungkol kay Chris.
"A whole year till he can come back!?"
"Then, he won't be playing in the Fall or Summer tournaments?"
"Are you serious? Did he even show any clues of something like this?"
"Looks like he's been keeping really quite about it all this time."
"Chris didn't show any clues na kahit kami hindi namin napansin. It was Ira's cousin who noticed his injury. Thanks to her, Chris's injury could still be healed." Salita ni Coach Kataoka.
"I will be appointing a new catcher for our Summer tournament. Regular catcher, 1st year, Miyuki." Anunsyo ni Coach Kataoka na ikinagulat nila.
They all turn around their heads at Miyuki who's currently has a surprise look on his face. The olive haired boy who's standing behind Miyuki couldn't believe that he already got promoted to the first string before him, giving Miyuki an irritated + jealous look.

"I will be appointing a new catcher for our Summer tournament. Regular catcher, 1st year, Miyuki."
I was surprised nang inanunsyo ni coach na ako ang bagong catcher para sa team. Hindi ko alam kung ano ang nararamdaman ko. Confusion? Irritation? Resentment?
I'm glad Chris senpai's injury got noticed at nagpapagamot na siya, tho it cost him a year off bench. But I feel bitterness left my mouth after coach announced na ako ang papalit sa pwesto niya.
I'm not quite happy about it. Naibigay sa akin yung pwesto without even putting up a fight! I could still remember our interaction last three weeks ago.
"I'll be in your care starting this spring. I'm Miyuki Kazuya." I bow down a little habang nagpapakilala kay Chris senpai.
And from inside my mind, I'm smirking in a menacing way. I'm gonna steal everything I can from you and make you give up your regular spot to me eventually.
"Yeah. Do your best." Chris senpai replied in a rather quiet voice.
He walks past me and I turned around to look at him.
Napabuntong hininga ako bago sumagot. "Yes coach!"
