The first and second-string players of Seidou gathered inside the indoor practice ground, discussing the upcoming Fall Tournament this October 2.
"Fall tournament is nearing and we have to finalize our team's lineup to participate in the said event. But don't be rest assured that this will be the final lineup for the Summer tournament next year. I'm going to recognize those players who'll do well." Anunsyo ni coach Kataoka.
"With the third year's retiring, the first string is down to 13 members. I will add seven players from the second string to complete the main roster."
The players are surprised sa anunsyo ng coach. The second-string players are happy and excited na mapili ng coach to participate in the Fall Tournament.
The coach started to add players whom he deemed prepared for the tournament from the second string.
"And Katarina," The amber headed lady glanced up at her uncle. "Go rest your head in the second string and continue to help your fellow first string. Switching your place will be Kusunoki Fumiya."
A shock left most first-string members' faces as they heard what the coach said. Kat's eye widens and sighed heavily. A smile of acceptance formed on her face, facing the upsetting news with courage, "Yes coach."
The coach gave her a meaningful look before he continued with another announcement before the meeting ended.
The amber headed lady was accompanied together by her cousin, the olive haired shortstop, and the bespectacled catcher. Nanaig ang katahimikan nila as they walk back to their dorms.
"Kat," a voice fills in the silence, "matutuloy pa ba ang tutor mo mamaya?" The bespectacled catcher asked.
Kat glanced up to her friend walking beside her, "Oo, bakit?" The lady asked in question.
The bespectacled boy grins, "Nothing. I thought you'd lose the energy to help considering what happened in the meeting awhile ago."
The amber headed lady scoffs, "You really thought I'm that weak, Miyuki?" The bespectacled catcher snickered.
"Maybe,"
Kat got irked at her bespectacled friend's response at magrereklamo sana siya ngunit naunahan siya ng kanyang pinsan.
"Tutor? But it's Saturday, Kat!" The red headed lady said.
"I know... but she promised that she's going to treat me to this amazing sweet shop after I help her.." Kat responded.
"Okay. But make sure you'll be home before six." You could feel the strictness in Ira's voice as she said those words.
"Yes, ma'am!" Kat immediately responded which earned a snicker from her bespectacled friend and a burst of shrill laughter from the shortstop.
"HYAHAHA! You sounded just like an old landlady, Ira!" The shortstop said in amusement and he earned a slap on his back.
"I'm not old!" Ira hissed in annoyance which made the olive haired boy laugh even more.
