Chapter 4.

Joyce's POV

Everything is settled na for my party, nakapag-rehearsal na rin kami for cotillion and we also practiced the sequence..

At ngayon, the long wait is over.

Yes, tonight is the night.

Naayusan na rin ako, tinext ko na rin ang barkada kung ready na sila and ready na nga daw.

Sabi ng Mama ko, ayos na ayos na rin daw ang reception..

Okay na din daw ang technical and foods for the party.

Time for me to enter the place where my happiest moment will happen..

Sana maging masaya,

Sana maging unforgettable para sa lahat lalo na sa akin..

"Are you ready hija?" Mama asked me.

I gave her a smile, a sign of confirmation sa tanong ng Mama ko..

Then tumayo ako sa upuan na kinauupuan ko, habang nakaharap sa salamin, I also gave myself a smile for me to begin the night with a happiness.

Tapos inalalayan na ako ng coordinator ng party ko papunta sa harap ng pintuan..

Kung saan magsisimula ang lahat..

"Ladies and Gentlemen, let me introduce to you the Queen of this Night, the debutant, Ms. Joyce Tupas."

After I heared that spiel,

Dahan-dahang bumukas yung pintuan sa harap ko..

Dahan-dahan ko ring inangat yung ulo ko mula sa pagkakayuko..

Dahan-dahan ko rin nginiti ang mga labi ko..

Everything is so magical.

Parang hindi ko alam kung ano ang mararamdaman ko,

Suddenly I saw everyone on the reception all staring at me and giving a round of applause..

then I begin to walk towards the isle, towards the center of everybody..

Everything is in a slow motion,

Their claps,
Their stares,
and My walk..

Grabe yung pakiramdam ko,

It is the best feeling I've ever felt sa lahat ng birthday party ko..

Then I saw my family in tears..

A tears of joy.

Tapos lumapit sa akin yung MC [Master of the Ceremony]..

Inabot niya sa akin yung microphone.

"To my family, my relatives, my friends and all the visitors, a pleasant evening to each and everyone of you. First of all, I want to give thanks to all of you for your presence. Thank you for giving time to attend on this magical night. I hope you also enjoy this one, God Bless." I said.

Then they gave me another round of applause..

Then I started to go up on the stage where my seat is located..

Shiela's POV

Bilang kaibigan ni Joyce, masaya ako para sa kanya...
