"Please behave!" Wei Ying all but barked at Xue Yang.

"You don't understand. I'm not being disrespectful. I'm actually in awe of her. She's a badass!" Xue Yang explained to him and Wei Ying could practically see stars in his friend's eyes.

"Could you just stop?" Wei Ying almost begged him.

"Why are you such a prude, dude? It's only natural. People bang," Xue Yang sounded really annoyed.

"Well I don't!" Wei Ying retorted, indignantly.

"I know! You're a blushing virgin," Xue Yang teased him mercilessly. This was such a good opportunity to do so.

"Shut up!" Wei Ying said while turning, fully intent on leaving Xue Yang behind. In his rush, he didn't see a person coming towards him and inevitably they crashed into each other. Almost losing his balance, he realized that a pair of arms had grabbed his forearms to stop his fall.

"I'm so sorry," Wei Ying started apologizing without looking up to see the face of the person he just crashed into. It was the scent that gave that person away. There was just no way Wei Ying wouldn't recognize that fragrance since he had grown up with it. It was the fragrance of Lan Zhan's favorite personal hygiene products.

"Wei Ying," was all Lan Zhan managed to say still holding Wei Ying.

"I'm sorry, so sorry," Wei Ying continued apologizing while disentangling himself from Lan Zhan's embrace, "I wasn't paying attention to where I was going."

"No need to apologize," Lan Zhan said while watching Wei Ying intendedly.

"Er...I..."Wei Ying tried to talk, but his mind froze and became unable to produce a coherent idea. Crap! He thought, since when am I unable to talk to Lan Zhan?

"Are you...?" Lan Zhan tried to ask him something, but strong hesitation interrupted his question.

"What? What was it?" Wei Ying tried to clarify, to elucidate what Lan Zhan wanted to know.

Unbeknownst to both of them Xue Yang stayed in a corner of that waiting room, watching the whole exchange completely amused. He was already formulating plans in his mind, lots of plans. Already regretting disrupting his current source of entertainment, he harrumphed.

"Excuse me for interrupting dude," he said to Wei Ying, but looked at Lan Zhan. "What's your plan? Are you going to stay here or go home? Song Lan sent a car to pick me up, do you want me to take you home?" His tone was one of utter innocence, but his eyes held a mocking stare that was wielded towards Lan Zhan.

"I..." Wei Ying hesitated, completely lost as to what he should be doing.

"You could even take a nap during the ride, the car is so comfy! Its backseat can fit both of us," Xue Yang's eyes never left Lan Zhan as he was explaining all of this to Wei Ying. He was the only one that seemed to notice how Lan Zhan's hands balled into fists.

"That won't be necessary," Lan Zhan finally interrupted him, "Wei Ying, if you wish to go home the chauffeur is already here. I was looking for you to ask."

'He talks,' was the thought that filled Xue Yang's brain. He was dying to say it out loud, but he had a fair sense of self preservation and all his instincts were advising he should keep his mouth shut.
