Crowds surrounded the Quartz Space Center in the Orre region. Most people were excited to see the launch of Ares 24, but others were nervous. Their loved ones were on board that ship. Only one Ares mission ever ended in tragedy, but it was a launch failure that ended Ares 3 before it even began.
If the nervous observers had known there were members of the criminal syndicates Cipher and Team Plasma on board, they might have begged their loved ones not to go. After all, one only had to hear the names of some of the ambitious astronauts to know they would be targeted by Team Plasma: Nyx Harmonia, Mercury Harmonia and Thalassa Harmonia Hawthorn. Joshua Pickett's father never changed his name to Harmonia after discovering he was one, but everyone knew.
