Risk It All (Chishiya X You)

Newcomers

You're alone when you wake up the next morning, no Kuina and no Chishiya. That also meant no help but maybe that's a good thing. 

You thought as you pulled the covers off of your body and placed your feet on the ground.

It was mid-afternoon by the time you woke up and the party downstairs had already begun, players would be going to a game tonight. The thought of this made you groan as you began to walk towards the restroom. Your walking has improved, your strength has returned, the pain of your wounds has lessened and the continuous shakes have calmed down, your fingers only trembling now and again.

You knew you would have to participate in the next game in two days. Even though you would have Chishiya and Kuina there you didn't want to go. The thought of Niragi there made it even worse.

You decide to skip the shower this morning, not
wanting to interrupt your body's healing process. You brushed your teeth and threw on a bikini before wrapping your black kimono around yourself in hopes it would cover the damage to your body.

Today was particularly noisy, something must have been going on. You're shocked when you arrive at the pool and take your place next to Kuina watching the events unfolding in front of you.

"Who's that?" You nod your head towards the two girls talking to Hatter as he lazes around on his sun bed.

"Newcomers, that one is Momoka and the other one is Asahi." Hatter's voice raises as the group around him cheers.

"Does that mean they are in?" You chuckle turning towards Kuina.

"I guess so." You both watch as they walk around the pool and enter the hotel, following Hatter.

As you watch them walk away you notice Chishiya standing by the door observing. You don't hesitate before walking towards him. As you reached him he began walking away from you.

"Chishiya!" You shout.

However he doesn't reply, you stand there dumbfounded as he walks away. Just like the night he kissed you.

"What's wrong?" Kuina asked, running to you.

"Him." You point towards the blonde-haired figure disappearing into the elevator.

"You know he doesn't want to care about you, I think he hates the fact that he does. Staying away from you is easier for him, maybe give him some space? Let him deal with whatever he needs to get over. Spend the day with me, we can find out about Momoka and Asahi." She smiles gently tugging on your arm.

You smile and turn towards her pausing at the
restaurant doors. You both look towards each other and laugh.

Kuina nods her head. "Let's eat first."

You quickly grab a plate and fill it with food before sitting at a table in the corner.

Kuna begins talking about the outside world however your mind is elsewhere and after around five minutes Kuina seems to notice that.

"What's up?" She asks curiously.

"Do you think Chishiya hates me?" You mumble. You were afraid she would say yes but you wouldn't be shocked if she did.

"No, I don't think he hates you" She responds so
confidently but it doesn't help you hide your concern.

"Then why did he ignore me? It's not like we have been spending a lot of time together." You huff, disappointed at the way he distances himself.

Kuina makes a light chuckle as she pushes her plate aside. "Look What isn't a lot of time to you is too much time for Chishiya, he is probably just focused on his game."
