As I'm looking through my purse to find my keys, I see a piece of paper that I know I didn't put in there.
It reads:
Erin,
call me sometime. Maybe we can get lunch when you aren't working. -Ashton
I flip the paper over and it has his number on the back. I smile at the paper, putting it back in my purse to continue looking for my keys.
Once I find my keys, I start my car and drive in the silence of the night. I play music quietly during my long drive back home.
Right when I get home I immediately take my clothes off and hop in the shower. I let the water hit my back, loosening up my muscles. I start washing my body and hair, turning off the shower once I'm finished.
I pull on sweats and a tank top before pulling my hair in a bun and crawling into bed with my phone.
Me: I don't normally like texting first so feel special ;-)
Ashton: is this Erin?
Me: yep!
Ashton: what's up?
Me: I just got home and I'm dreading to go back to work tomorrow
Ashton: how long do you have to work tomorrow?
Me: 1 pm-8pm
Ashton: would you want to hang out after your shift is over?
Me: yeah! that would be awesome
Ashton: where should I meet you?
Me: you can come to the club when my shift is almost over or meet me at my house..
Ashton: I'll come to the club and we can hang afterwards
Me: sounds awesome!
Ashton: I'll let you get some rest. Good night!
Me: night :-)
I turn off my phone, plugging it into the charger and turn my lamp off before fixing my pillows and falling asleep.
