The surrounding is bustling with the crowd. Everyone is mesmerized by the refinement of the giant clock tower. Some are taking their phone out to take a picture, some are posing, and some are just standing there admiring the place.
Hyunsuk standing at the position Jihoon instructed him. Weirdly, he listens well to whatever Jihoon's said. Even though it takes them some quiet of time. Maybe because it's his job, seeing him being all serious is quite nice. Aside from instructing Hyunsuk on how to pose, Jihoon doesn't talk much. He just silently does his job with the sounds of the camera clicking.
"Hey, are you done?" Jihoon surely does his job well, it is obvious that he is certainly passionate about whatever he does. At that time, Hyunsuk even thought to recruit Jihoon to be part of his team. It must be good to have him in his company. There was always something not fine with the way advised him.
Despite Jihoon's great works, there his 'model', is hard to handle. It's not easy for Jihoon to get the kind of photos that he wants.
"Too dramatic."
"Too extravagant."
"I am not a kid."
Jihoon's patience is on the next level to be able to deal with Hyunsuk attitude. Not everyone besides his family can deal with Hyunsuk. He is popular for being a perfectionist. From his works to his fashion, everything must be on point. It's not that hard for him to find a slight mistake in everything he sees.
He once makes the whole company work overtime just because of a simple mistake made by an employee. Starting by that time, the employees will revise twice or more of their jobs before handling it to the upper man.
Shockingly, Jihoon, other than his family can put up to his attitude. Maybe because of Jihoon's persistence, that makes him has no choice but to go by the flow.
On the other side, Jihoon is well-known for being passionate. He will do his best once he puts his mind to it.
To tell you the truth, this is the first time Jihoon ever begged someone to be his model. Before, it was always someone been asking him to be their photographer.
"Woah, Jihoon is as famous as usual. Among us all, you're the one who never gets have free time ever since our college days." Jihoon just gulping the soju in his glass. It refreshed his throat.
"Well, how can you not want a handsome yet precise man to be your photographer?" A lady said as she giggled.
"Do you mean to tell me, we all are not handsome?" One of the guys is fuming followed by the laughter of the other.
"You all handsome, but less handsome than Jihoon."
"The hell."
"Hahaha, guys, stop tattling. Keep on drinking." Jihoon has no energy to argue with his friends. He's been attending 4 different events in just a day. From pre-wedding, birthday, graduation, and even death ceremonies. He can't believe it all happened in a day.
Death ceremony? Yes. Jihoon gets this job because, among all photographers, he is the one willing to take this job. Even in the sad event, he believes, the family wants portraits of the memory to keep the memory alive.
He is lucky that his skills are useful, not just to himself, but to others as well. Since he was young, he has always been fond of photography matters. It was solely started by taking random pictures using his dad's old phone as a memory.
He will take the picture of weird shape stone, the first cat he ever touch, the unique types of flowers, and even random human actions in the streets which caught his attention.
As he grows older. His interest in photography become deeper. He even works a part-time job to buy himself a camera. During the school events, he used to be the school's official photographer. He gets used to being called by some students to take photos of them. He feels nostalgic every time he looks at those pictures. He always feels lucky to be able to capture all those moments. The pictures with various background stories which only he knows about.
Again, he never begs someone to be his model aside from Hyunsuk. There's something about Hyunsuk that caught his attention but what it is? His grumpiness? No way. His fashion sense? Jihoon even did attend mini fashion shows before. Or maybe his smile? The thing is he haven't saw Hyunsuk smiles at him. All he ever show just a frowned face of him.
Ting~ Ting~ Ting~
As lucky they are, the Big Ben chiming. The sounds of the bell echoed all over the city. Everyone seems busy. Various sounds could be heard, the sounds of people being amazed, gasping, whispering, and even the sounds of flapping birds but the best sounds are coming from the giant clock tower up there.
"Woah~" Hyunsuk's eyes sparkled while looking at the clock. He gives his full attention to the direction of the ringing sound. He just could see it from movies on the tv before. Now it's right in front of his eyes, he can't help but feels lucky to be there.
He then put his hands on his chest. "Thanks, Jae hyung for making me sees this. I've ever wanted to see this ever since."
Jihoon takes his camera and points it to Hyunsuk who is amazed by the sounds. He never sees someone be fond of something as Hyunsuk. The way he looks at the clock tower is the same as a husband waiting for his wife to walk down the aisle. It's full of love.
As Jihoon peeks over his camera screen, the man who is being all grumpy all day looks so soft. Everything surrounds him changes. His hair is fluttering by the wind.
Not knowing why Jihoon's heartbeat is racing. Thump. Thump. Thump. A feeling he can't describe. He gulps his saliva to calm himself down. Everything seems beautiful to him.
'Click!'
The sounds of the camera just could be listened to by Jihoon. "Beautiful." He unconsciously ran his mouth. He quickly brings his hand to cover his mouth.
No Jihoon, what did you think about it? He's a guy. A grumpy guy at it.
"Hey, kid. Do you hear the sound? I am so lucky." Jihoon can't help but bring his eyes to look at Hyunsuk. He is beaming. How can someone look so beautiful under this chiming bell? Not even the loud sounds of the chiming bell attract Jihoon. He was lost in his mind. As his heartbeat, beat fast so do the sounds. It could be heard loud and clear.
"Haaaa." He crouches down. Rubbing his nape. Try to hide his face which he believes already reddened.
"Hey, are you okay?" Hyunsuk seems concerned. Well, of course, he has to be concerned, he is the one with Jihoon right now. Not to mention, his camera probably already has some pictures of him. If anything happens, he will be the first suspect.
He then approaches Jihoon whose face has already turned beet red. As he tries to reach Jihoon's face, his hand gets slapped by Jihoon which makes him jolted.
"Sorry. I don't feel good. Thanks for your patronage. I'll go first." With that note, Jihoon rises, not even bothering to look back, he then disappeared into a lot of crowds leaving Hyunsuk dumbfounded.
