Chapter 22 : Determination

"Ah Miss Hyuna. You won't have breakfast in our room or should I call Hyunsuk hyung?" Ask Jihoon as soon as they reach Hyuna's room door. He genuinely asked because the three of them usually have their meal together. Hyuna whose hand was already on the doorknob stopped her actions. She then turns to Jihoon. With a big grin she said, "Nah, I am having breakfast alone. I still have to do some packing." Right after ending her words without waiting for Jihoon's reaction she twists the doorknob and enters her room leaving Jihoon dumbfounded.

With a little late reaction, Jihoon just could nod before moving his feet to his and Hyunsuk's room. He tiptoed as soon as he entered the room, trying his best not to close the door loudly. Afraid he might wake Hyunsuk up. Before he takes off his outer shoes, there's a voice approaching him.

"Jihoon?" He turns his head to the voice. His heart jumped a bit. He quickly takes off his shoes before putting on room slippers. "Hyung, that I wake you up?" said Jihoon.

"Nah, I've been awake for some time now." Said Hyunsuk who was still comfortably sitting on the bed with a book on his arm. "Where did you go?" ask Hyunsuk, who didn't take his eyes off the book he read. "Yes?" Jihoon answered, quite shocked by what he heard. He never imagined Hyunsuk would ask his whereabouts.

'Is hyung probably waiting for me?'  thinks Jihoon, a big grin appearing on his face. Hyunsuk then raises his head and looks at Jihoon. His face frowned when he sees Jihoon putting on a weird smile on his face. "Your bed is empty when I awake. Where have you been?" Hyunsuk paraphrases his question. He then notices some plastic bags on Jihoon's hand.

"What's that?" before Jihoon could react to Hyunsuk's question, he asked a new one. Jihoon turns his head in the direction Hyunsuk's finger pointed.

"Oh, these are our breakfast. Hyuna noona and I went to a local restaurant around this area to buy breakfast. I don't dare to wake you up because -" Jihoon's words stop when he remembered the words that came out of Hyunsuk's lips earlier on. He then shakes his head lightly. "You sleeping soundly. After all, you must be tired last night," said Jihoon putting on a smile on his face. Hyunsuk just look at him. 

"Let's dig in before it gets cold," said Jihoon. Hyunsuk just nodded his head slightly before getting up from his bed. Both of them silently enjoy their breakfast on the table prepared in the room. They're just exchanging a few words and continue eating with their minds thinking about random stuff. After finishing his breakfast, Hyunsuk took a bath while Jihoon worked on his camera. He took a few shots of day views of Bangkok city from the balcony of his room.

Not long after, Hyunsuk came out from the bathroom wearing one white shirt with black pants and a piece of tiny. His slightly wet hair was already neatly styled. He then moved to the closet with 100% filled with his stuff, taking out a navy blue cotton vest and putting it on his body.

"Let's go," he said to Jihoon after spraying himself with perfume. Jihoon just hummed hinting he understood what Hyunsuk said. Hyunsuk then grab his bag before going out of the room and followed by Jihoon a few moments after he leaves.

"I WANNA GO TO BALI TOO!!!" Hyuna's voice cut through the loud, constant noise of the crowd. Some passersby are looking over their shoulders, and some just walking by minding their own business. Hyunsuk just gave her cold stares, while Jihoon eyes are roaming around checking their surrounding. He tries his best to calm down those siblings and is busy bowing to passersby as apologizes for causing a ruckus in the middle of the airport.

After having breakfast in their hotel room, the three of them head for a few souvenir shopping Hyuna would bring back home. Jihoon still can't process how those riches are spent. Not just Hyuna, even Hyunsuk. They bought quite various things. Hyuna said most of it is to be given to her colleagues, close friends, and a few relatives. After spending a few hours shopping, they're having their lunch at a Korean restaurant Hyunsuk spotted. It was not taking too long before they returned to their hotel. They then left for the airport an hour before Hyuna's departure time and now here they are, making a scene in the middle of the foreign country's airport.

"You can't. How will Woosung react when you suddenly extended your vacation period? After all, he's the one that booked your flight ticket." said Hyunsuk sternly while crossing his arm. Hyuna gets the news that Hyunsuk and Jihoon will take a flight to Bali when she accidentally sees the travel itinerary Hyunsuk made in his bag. She pouts as she crosses her arms too. She also gives her brother a sharp look before letting out a huge huff in protest. As if Hyunsuk would go soft on her. Jihoon who just happened to notice it all doesn't know how to react. It's not the first time Jihoon noticed something like this between the siblings. They always have a petty argument and forget about it a few moments after and still, he won't know what should he do.

"Hyunsuk hyung is right, noona. Don't you say someone is waiting for your return?" he tries to calm the situation down. He's doing it because they're getting more attention. Both Hyuna and Hyunsuk turns their head at Jihoon but gives a different reaction.  Hyuna's smiling shyly with her cheeks reddened while Hyunsuk just glares at Jihoon without any emotion.

"Someone?" Hyunsuk asked. He then turned his head at Hyuna who was blushing furiously. He stares intensely at her trying to understand her facial expressions.

"Ah, my flight! It is almost departure time. I should go. Bye Oppa. Bye Jihoon. SEE YOU IN KOREA!!" said Hyuna as she noticed Hyunsuk's gaze pierced deep at her. And dashes away quickly to the departure gate. Jihoon gave a big wave at her while Hyunsuk just let out a heavy sigh as he sees Hyuna's back slowly disappear from his sight.

"Uhm, hyung!" said Jihoon when Hyunsuk was about to leave. Hyunsuk turns his head without saying anything. "It's still early. How about we take a stroll around the city and have dinner before heading to the hotel?" suggests Jihoon. He's hoping Hyunsuk agrees with him without saying anything.

Hyunsuk seems to think about Jihoon's suggestions. "How about you go by yourself," he answered after pondering for a few seconds. Jihoon's heart dropped a bit upon hearing that. He knows it won't be easy but he'll try to make it work. He remembers what he said to Hyuna this morning.

"Hyuna noona, I am thinking about confessing to Hyunsuk hyung," said Jihoon on their way back hotel.

"Wh-" Hyuna choked on her saliva. Jihoon quickly brings his hand to pay Hyuna back. "What?! Jihoon do you realize what you just said?" said Hyuna after she clear her throat.

"Yes. I love him so much. I wouldn't know if I get a chance or not if I am not confessing. You're on my side, right?" said Jihoon with a big smile. There's confidence in his voice.

Hyuna turns her head at him. She then throws a small smile. "Of course, I'm on your side. After all your goal is to make my brother happy. Remember Jihoon, please don't forget to make yourself happy as well. If you can't get him now, get him then! Make him belong to you!" said Hyuna with determination in her eyes. She then let out a chuckle. "I will." Jihoon smiled. He knew it was not gonna be a smooth and safe journey, but he will go through it to see a side of Hyunsuk he badly wanna see and to have his name spewed in his sleep.
