Chapter 11 : Gift

"Oppa, smile a bit please~~" Hyuna said as she look at her brother's scowling face.  He had been like this ever since they entered the restaurant. Unlike the usual restaurant he visited, this one is look downgraded to him. It's loud and crowded.

Despite looking tired and grumpy but still, Hyuna can't help herself. She loves to tease her big brother with these kinds of things. It isn't unusual for her brother to have mood swings. His personality has always been rough. Just a few people could cope with his brother's mood swings.

"Hyung, you dislike this place? We can move to another place if you wanted." Jihoon said. He put on a worried face. Of course, he is when since they seated, Hyunsuk just showed a frowning face. It's not like he has never seen that face but it looks obvious that Hyunsuk is not happy with the place he picked. His brows are furrowed and his hands are placed neatly on top of each other.

"Why should we move if you recommend this place. Do you wanna see me get mad?" Hyunsuk's lips move like a bullet train straight into Jihoon's face.

Hyuna let out a laugh. It's been so long for her brother to throw tantrum like this. She missed this side of her older brother. She then chuckled.

"I'm sure Oppa loves it here and after all, Jihoon recommends this place. You trusted him, right?" she said while putting her chin on his hand, smirking. Her words didn't have any effect on him. Hyunsuk just continued to pout his bottom lip and read the menu. She tried talking again but it seems like her brother had no intention to talk to her. Hyuna snickers again.

"So, Jihoon, what's the best menu here?" Hyuna asked Jihoon who was looking at the menu as well.

With, a bright face, Jihoon quickly answered. He named a few Thailand dishes that must be eaten by visitors.  Hyunsuk is still not pleased with this place and yet he listened to what Jihoon's said.

"Okay then, we will try everything! It's a waste if we didn't have Thailand food when we're here." Hyuna said in a cheery mood. 

Well, to be honest, Hyunsuk was a bit lucky that Hyuna didn't take after him. There is a significant difference between those siblings.  One has a very cheerful personality, while the other one is gloomy most of the day. Despite the difference, they both are close to each other.

A few minutes later, the foods they ordered are finally served. Hyuna gasped looking at the food presentation. She immediately takes her phone and started taking pictures. While Jihoon is at the other side taking out his camera and snapping a few shots of Hyunsuk who is also mesmerized by the way their food is presented. Jihoon snorted. He felt proud of himself.

After taking a few shots, Jihoon scoops a spoonful of Tom Yum Goong soup, gives it a few blows, and puts some on Hyunsuk's plate. Hyunsuk looked at Jihoon questioningly.

"Give it a taste, hyung," Jihoon said smiling widely. Hyunsuk nodded hesitantly and start chewing slowly.  After about five seconds of waiting, he swallows it all without any fuss. Jihoon let out an excited noise.

"You liked it right?" Jihoon asked enthusiastically. Hyunsuk looked at Jihoon with an annoying expression  Hyuna giggled at those men's antics. Seeing no significant reaction from Hyunsuk, Jihoon started to panic.

"What's wrong? Is it bad? Spicy? Wanna change it?" Jihoon asking. He was scared if the food was not to Hyunsuk's liking.

Hyunsuk shook his head.
"No. I don't hate it. Not too spicy," Hyunsuk said. Jihoon grinned and help himself with the food same goes for Hyuna. While eating, Jihoon can't help but keep stealing glances at Hyunsuk. Hyunsuk didn't show any reaction, so it's hard to tell whether he liked the food or not.

Noticing it, Hyuna then opens her mouth, "Oppa, how do you feel about the food?"

Hearing her, Hyunsuk stopped eating. He looks at his sister who is cunningly smiling at him. "It's good. I like it. I didn't expect a downgraded restaurant like this to serve such a portion of great food." He said not lifting his head.

Jihoon's eyes sparkled with happiness when he heard Hyunsuk. He couldn't help but feel proud seeing Hyunsuk enjoying himself. Looking at it,  he always knew that Hyunsuk is sensitive when it comes to eating. While their stay in London, he never once saw Hyunsuk eating street foods that were sold along the street at the park.

After done eating, Hyunsuk asks for a toilet break. It's his routine to brush his teeth after he eats. While waiting for Hyunsuk, Hyuna, and Jihoon to eat coconut ice cream as the dessert that was sold outside of the restaurant.

"To be honest, this was oppa's first time eating at a not-five-stars-restaurant," Hyuna said. Jihoon didn't seem surprised by it. "And you did a good job," Hyuna exclaimed.

"Thanks," Jihoon said, blushing with a little pride in his tone.

They already finished the ice cream the moment Hyunsuk came back. He gave them both a weird look. "You guys seem close,"  he said while approaching them. Hyuna just giggled.

"Well, it's because of you, Oppa. Let's go shopping!" Hyuna said as she tugged her brother's arm while Jihoon follows behind them. The three of them move to the nearest shopping mall based on the website suggestions.

The whole trip to the mall wasn't boring at least. Hyuna and Jihoon chatted a lot. They seem compatible with each other. Hyunsuk was glad that Hyuna is with them now, Jihoon didn't feel much lonely. It's not like he cares about Jihoon, but leaving Jihoon to do all the talking alone, makes him feel bad. 

They spend hours going around the mall. They got souvenirs from every store. Jihoon took a few photos of their shopping trip, shocking enough, Hyunsuk seems more enjoy their shopping trip the most. He's glad that he was able to portray it on his camera.

While Jihoon busily checks the photos he took, Hyunsuk suddenly moves next to him. "Here." He hands a paper bag to him.

"What is this?" Jihoon asks confusedly. He puts his camera down and checks what's inside the bag. Inside the paper bag, there's a camera bag that he saw earlier. The moment he looks at the price, he put it back in its place. "Did you buy this?" he asked in wonder. Hyunsuk just nodded.

"Why? It was expensive. I-"

"You're welcome," Hyunsuk said and moves towards Hyuna who was just done paying her stuff. Jihoon couldn't react. Hotness creeps over his cheeks and his heartbeat increases. He feels himself blushing harder because of that comment.

He knows he has a thing for Hyunsuk but still, this is something new to him. This feeling is in his chest when he thinks about the older man. How his heart beats faster whenever their eyes meet or how his face turns red because of his small action like just now. How his mind goes crazy thinking of the possibility that maybe, maybe, Hyunsuk like him too. And if that's true then there is only one option left. Kiss. Jihoon shakes his head fast.

"No. No way. Hahaha, it's not possible."
Hyunsuk notices Jihoon's weird antics again from afar, when he thought Jihoon is normal, he takes it back.

"JIHOON, ARE YOU JUST GONNA SIT THERE ALL LONG SHAKING YOUR HEAD?" Jihoon jolted when he heard Hyunsuk's voice.

"Wait for me!"
