Chapter 15 : His happiness

"ARGHH JIHOON YOU DUMBASS! PUT THAT THING AWAY!" Hyunsuk's voice rang out through the busy Chatuchak Market. Right after having their blast breakfast at the floating market, they decided to go on another trip led by Jihoon.

Chatuchak Weekend Market is the world's largest weekend market that is located in Bangkok, Thailand. Based on Jihoon, this place is a must-visit. He told Hyunsuk and Hyuna about how wonderful that market is. Hyuna who just knows about it based on the internet is interested enough. While Hyunsuk, actually plans to straight go back to the hotel after visiting the floating market. What's more, he already ticked the list.

"Miss Hyuna, please plead Hyunsuk hyung. What use of we being here if we don't go there." Jihoon said trying to reason with her while Hyunsuk went to a nearer public restroom to brush his teeth.

"You're acting like a spoiled kid at times like this," Hyuna said as she rolled her eyes. She has much fun teasing the younger guy.

"Well, why did Hyunsuk hyung decide to have a vacation here if he didn't walk around? I don't find any fun staying in the room doing nothing. After all, isn't Hyunsuk hyung on vacation for self-healing?"  Hyuna looked taken aback by that question. It took a few seconds before she could react back to what she heard from the younger.

"How do you know?"  Hyuna asked curiously. Jihoon looks shocked hearing the question coming out of Hyuna's mouth. It's something he shouldn't know?

"Well, isn't it look like that? Hyunsuk hyung always has that lonely look in his eyes. At some point, it looks like he tries to communicate with someone. There's a time he looks happy and sad a second after. It hurt seeing him didn't even enjoy himself on his vacation.  As long I am with him, I'll try to bring happiness to his vacation. I want him to find his happiness all along this journey." A small smile formed on Jihoon's face. Hearing him, Hyuna tries her best not to shed any tears. She can't believe there someone could care this much about a stranger he just knew.

"Jihoon, I will help you to bring that happiness to him. If you mean what you said."

"Thanks, miss!!"

"Oppa, there's somewhere I wanna go," Hyuna said to Hyunsuk as soon as the latter approached them. Well, it's not that hard to convince Hyunsuk. As the reasoning is acceptable, he can reconsider his decision.

"Hyung, here! Look at this." Jihoon waved excitedly at Hyunsuk as he stood in front of a stall. It seems like selling fried food.

Hyunsuk and Hyuna obediently stride to him. As they stood next to Jihoon, Hyunsuk let out a scream. The passersby laughed while looking at them.   

"Ah, hyung you're afraid of insects?" 

Hearing that remark from Jihoon, Hyunsuk just glare back. He can't believe Jihoon excitedly showing him piles of fried insects. Instead of feeling guilty, Jihoon looks so happy about it. He could see Hyunsuk's new expression. Well, he did feel bad about it.

Hyuna who is conquered by curiosity and feelings moves forward to the stall.

"Hey, Hyuna, what are you trying to do?!"  Hyunsuk panicked as he tried pulling Hyuna back but her curiosity makes her stronger. Before Hyunsuk could say more, she already hold a stick of fried insect and put it in her mouth.

"Hmm, it is good. Very crispy." She said smiling happily to herself.

"Wait what?! Why would you eat one of these!? Hyuna!!!" Hyunsuk makes a huge commotion in the stall and attracted some passersby. Jihoon just let out a small chuckle watching that scene.

"Come on Oppa, try it. It doesn't taste bad as its looks." Hyuna still held the stick while giving it to Hyunsuk.

"No! I'm not eating it!" Hyunsuk exclaimed in fear.

"Yeah, hyung. Give it a try. It tastes like 'twigim'." Jihoon said, chuckling again. Hyuna still giving it to Hyunsuk, waiting for him to take one bite. Hyunsuk dagger a sharp stare at Jihoon making the latter smile instead of terrified. 

God, he's so cute. He thought to himself.

"Why don't you eat it?!" Hyunsuk said in anger to Jihoon while pointing his index finger at him.

"If I eat it, you must have a bite too," Jihoon simply responded.

"... you eat the whole stick,"

"Hahaha, okay hyung~," Jihoon said as he devour the whole thing. "See?" he said showing his tongue to Hyunsuk. "Now it's your turn," Jihoon said while smiling.

Hyunsuk takes a deep breath and then finally takes a bite from the stick. Immediately, his eyes got widen when tasting the flavor. In less than a few seconds, he finished chewing it all up and swallowing it with a sigh.

"How?" Hyuna asks in anticipation. Her eyes grow wider as she waits for her brother's reaction. While Jihoon already preparing tissue and a bottle of water in case Hyunsuk might spit it out.

"It doesn't taste bad as it looks," Hyunsuk replied. Hyuna cheered up hearing Hyunsuk comment. "but I'll never try it again." he continue as he walk away from the food stall.  Leaving Hyuna and Jihoon behind.

"Oppa, wait!" Hyuna shouts after him while running towards him. Jihoon follows a few seconds after paying the bill.

Forgetting about the insect incident, the three of them started walking around the market. Same as in the floating market, Jihoon stuck close to Hyunsuk to make sure he didn't feel uneasy amongst the crowd but he didn't hold his hand this time. There are a lot of stalls selling different stuff such as souvenirs, clothes, jewelry, and other things.

The trio also buy themselves something which they thought is good for them. Clothes, bag, and some accessories. They bought some little keychains and purses for souvenirs. As they walked around the stalls, Hyuna notice something interesting from a stall.

"Oppa, I'll go to that stall for a while," Hyuna said. As Hyunsuk nodded his head, she went to stall with a smile on her face.

Hyunsuk then moves to the nearer bench and rests his foot. In those crowd, he strangely found peace.  He can hear people chattering and laughing as well as the sounds of music playing in the background. It's nice.  He raises his head looking at the bright blue sky above. From afar, Jihoon could see the person he likes sitting down on the bench, feeling himself.

He can't help but smile. His heart beats faster knowing that Hyunsuk seems to enjoy himself. He then took his camera out of his bag and start taking pictures of Hyunsuk. After sometime later, took a seat beside Hyunsuk.

"Hyung, are you tired? Here's your drink." Jihoon said while giving a cup of cold drink to Hyunsuk. Hyunsuk turns his head at Jihoon before taking the drink from him.

"Thanks," Hyunsuk said softly. Then he slowly drinks it. The two sat quietly enjoying each other's presence in comfortable silence.

"Hyung, I am sorry."  Jihoon suddenly said causing Hyunsuk to stop drinking.
"What for?"
"For forcing you to do something you don't like."
"Eating insect? It's not a big deal. I could add it to my life experience." Hyunsuk calmly said.

"So, you don't hate me?"

"I never hated you," 

Before Jihoon could react, Hyuna already walked toward them.
