Chapter 47 : Our last journey

"I'll miss you both," Hyuna said sadly, tears in her eyes. Her lips curved down into a sad frown. "You're sad just because you can't join us, right?" said Hyunsuk with a playful smile on his face. Hyuna scoffed and glared at him. "What? Oppa how dare you. I really can't come with you. Jihoon, please persuade Hyunsuk oppa to let me tag along." She's now pleading with Jihoon who stood there with a confused expression on his face. He then looks at Hyuna with  an apologetic look on his face and said, "I would like you and Woosung to join too, but your due date is approaching so..."

Hyuna frowned and huffed before pouting her lips out and crossing her arms over her chest. Her bottom lip protruded out, making her resemble a sulking child. "Babe, what Jihoon said is right. We don't want anything to happen to you." Woosung said while stroking Hyuna's back
soothingly.  Hyuna slowly relaxed her body after hearing that. She leaned her head onto her husband's shoulder as she rests her hand on her belly. "Yeah... yeah, okay but after the baby comes you have to promise that you'll let me tag along." Woosung chuckled at her childish attitude.

"Alright, my little sister. Just make sure to deliver my niece  or nephew healthy and well." Hyuna gave him a fake pout before hugging him tightly. "Don't worry Oppa. Your little sister will make sure of that." Hyunsuk chuckled as he ruffles her hair.

As the departure announcement was made, Hyunsuk pulls away from the hug. "Alright, we'll take our leave. See you later," said Hyunsuk, smiling brightly. "See you later, Hyuna noona, Woosung. We will inform you when we've arrived there," said Jihoon with a bright smile plastered on his face. Hyuna nodded. "Yeah. I hope both of you will enjoy your trip. But it's true, I'll miss you both," said Hyuna with a small voice filled with sadness. Jihoon smiled reassuringly at her. "We'll miss you too, noona,"

"Jihoon, quick!" Hyunsuk called out to Jihoon, waving his hand excitedly.

"Oh right! Coming!" Jihoon replied, running towards Hyunsuk, almost tripping a few times. Hyunsuk shows a concerned face before laughing lightly over Jihoon's clumsy behavior.

Hyuna looked at the two with an affectionate gaze. Without realizing it, a drop of tear fell down her cheek as she watches them leave. Her lips curved upwards into a small smile. "Hyunsuk oppa looks so happy,"  said Hyuna as she wipes off the tear that fell down her cheek. She then links her arm around the arm of her husband. "Let's head home," said Hyuna.

Jihoon plopped on the moment as soon they arrived at the hotel room. His body slumped onto the soft mattress, letting his eyes fall shut as he let out a deep breath of exhaustion from their 9 hours of flight.

"Tired?" asks Hyunsuk sitting next to him, taking his coat from him. Jihoon rises, and pulls Hyunsuk down with him, hugging his boyfriend tightly. Hyunsuk laughs softly but doesn't push away. Instead, he let himself enjoy the feeling of warmth from Jihoon's body, holding him tight back. He snuggles a bit more, burying his face in his neck. The other one chuckles before giving him another squeeze around him and then kisses him on the cheek. "Let's stay like this for a while." He said while caressing Jihoon's hair.

"Okay~" Jihoon murmured tiredly before nuzzling closer to the dark brown-haired male, breathing in his scent slowly, enjoying every single second he spends cuddling Hyunsuk.

"AHHH!! Hyung slow down, slow down!" Jihoon screams out loud with his eyes open wide and his mouth gaping like a fish as his hands hold tight to the handle of the sled. Meanwhile, the man in front of him laughs heartily, enjoying the ride. Hyunsuk's face was glowing brighter than usual from joy and the sound of wind with snow rushing past them made him feel more at peace. His eyes were focused on the pack of Siberian huskies that were pulling their sled.

"Woahhh, I thought I will be dead right here and now," he says while panting slightly the moment they get off the sled. His legs shake a little bit before he manages to stand upright again. Hyunsuk still couldn't help but chuckle seeing Jihoon's reaction. He moves closer to the latter and softly pats away the snow that covered his jacket and head. A warm smile graced his lips. "It's fun, right?"
