A/N: For the last time. Alastor's last name, canonically, is unknown. I know that if you google it, it says Hartfelt. But if you click 😁 On the page😁 Right at the bottom 😁 It says something along the lines of: "not canon/fanon/ NOT in line with series".
And it's not Altruist, either. That's literally just a word he used to describe what people thought of him. For the love of god, and all that is holy, this actually raises my blood pressure every time I see it- and I don't know why, but it makes me unbelievably angry. IT'S NOT HARTFELT OR ALTRUIST.

"Who willingly gets up this early?" David asked, kicking his shoes off at the door. You smiled, a hint of sleepiness still looming over you, as you handed him a cup of coffee.

"Masochists and morning people."

"Which one are you?" He teased.

You chuckled as you rubbed your eyes and sat down at your kitchen table, pulling out a chair for him to sit across from you. "Funny. What's the boyfriend up to this morning?"

"Ah he had to go over to his moms and help fix something wrong with her car." He explained. You held your hand over your heart and playfully awed.

"What a sweetheart." You cooed. "Well tell him I said hi next time you talk to him."

"Yeah," David laughed. He noticed you were yawning a bit more than usual and seemed a little quiet, he figured you were tired but something seemed a little off. "You alright, Y/n? Bit too much to drink last night?"

You shook your head and grabbed your own coffee. "Didn't sleep well last night. Weird ass dreams."

"You've had a lot on your mind, I'm not surprised." He took a sip from his mug and sat down across from you. You nodded.

"I'm just happy this is the beginning of leaving that situation behind me. I'm still mad at myself, David." You said, brushing your fingers through your hair as you sat back in your chair. Your friend pursed his lips and nodded understandingly.

"You were scared, I don't blame you. You have him blocked now, right?"

"On every form of social media. I'm getting my number changed tomorrow too." You said with a soft smile.

"Good. How's work been, by the way?"

You gave him a thumbs up as you sipped your coffee. "Great! I actually have a photoshoot for Inked magazine coming up in a couple of days."

"Oh fuck yeah, that's awesome Y/n!"

You grinned and giggled softly. "I'm very grateful. I mean the industry is rough, but I like a lot of the perks that come with it."

"The free merchandise from companies?" He mused. You waved your hand dismissively.

"Material items don't fill my soul, they're just a bonus. I like the traveling, some of the people I get to meet and places I get to visit. I missed that when I was with Ex/n... Fucker literally never let me do anything and if he did I was under his thumb the whole time."

"I just don't get why someone would date a model then get mad when you have to go to work, or dare to look good when you leave the house." David said dismally. You shrugged and sighed.

"I think he just wanted a trophy. To say he was dating me as if it was some badge of honor that his bros would pat him on the back for. Ah well, the past is the past." You said with a soft smile.

A soft creak was heard behind you and you both turned and looked in the direction of Binx jumping up onto the counter.

"Hi Binxy baby~!!" David cooed.
