Ship: Teacher Diane Sherman x Student Reader

Summary: Diane runs into the reader one evening while doing rounds around campus. Diane gets to know the reader, then gets her hands full in an awkward moment.

---

Diane walked around the campus grounds as the sun was slowly reaching the horizon. She enjoyed making rounds on her own, she wouldn't have to be forced to make small talk with other teachers and she could stay focused on her main task: Make sure students were on their way to dinner or their dorms. She heard the sound of a bucket clattering against concrete, her head perking up in alarm. She walked to the noise, hearing young women laughing. That's when she saw you, watching you look around in a slight daze. Diane ran over to you, helping you up. Your clothes were soaked, sticking to your skin, you looked miserable. "Are you okay?" Diane finally spoke, seeing your dazed expression turn to irritation, then defeat. "I'm fine, I'm just sick of those stupid girls." You huffed, looking at your clothes.

"Are they bullying you?" Diane questioned, picking up the bucket. "... Yeah. Her boyfriend got all excited after he kissed me. You'd think she would get the hint that he's not all much when he gets all sprung up over a peck on the lips." You grumbled, heading towards the girl's dormitory. Diane got her phone out, catching your attention with a question. "What are their names?" You blinked, slightly shocked. "Their names are (Childhood Enemy), (Childhood Enemy), and (Childhood Enemy)." You explained, eyes growing wide as you saw her typing to a teacher group chat. "That should be of some help." She smiled, making you smile.

You got to your dorm room, looking back to Diane. "Ms. Sherman, you can come in." You offered, leaving the door open. Diane slipped in with a quiet "thanks", watching you go into your dorm bathroom. After a few minutes, you were out in a new outfit. "Oh! I should've asked. Have you had dinner yet?" Diane asked, catching you off-guard. "Technically yes? If it wasn't for those girls, I would've been able to have eaten it instead of wearing it." You gave a slightly awkward laugh, avoiding Diane's gaze.

Diane stared at you, eyes not blinking. Think of something, Diane. She's a cute student, in her senior year. Think of something! Diane gasped as an idea came to her. "I'll take you somewhere. There's a pho restaurant that just opened, we can go there." Diane offered, giving a small smile. She felt butterflies in her stomach that only intensified when you accepted her offer.

At the restaurant, Diane sat with you. She watched you dig into your bowl of pho, happiness warning her body. "You know, it's rude to stare." Your voice was laced with a playful tone, Diane blind to what your gaze meant. She smiled in awkwardness, immediately digging into her food. You ate so quietly, but didn't lack in conversation. Diane still couldn't quite piece together why you were giving her such seductive eyes, but it brought butterflies to her stomach.

After paying and leaving a tip, Diane took you back to your dorm 30 minutes before curfew. You brought her into your dorm, closing the door. "I just wanted to ask... Uhm..." Diane spoke quietly, losing herself in thought as she tried to find a way to ask her question. How do I ask you if you're going to be safe here?

You blinked, softening up and starting to unbutton her shirt after stripping down. Diane came back to reality, eyes wide in confusion. "You're beautiful." You cooed, gently tugging at her bra. "Can I take this off?" You asked, watching her jump back and pull her clothes shut. "I thought you wanted-" your eyes widened, pulling your clothes back on after realizing your mistake. "Uh... Uhm... Are you going to be safe here?" Diane finally asked, her face red with blush. "Uhm... Yeah. I should. My friends wouldn't let anyone hurt me in here." You spoke quietly from embarrassment. Diane kissed your cheek, running out and skipping steps. Buttoning her shirt properly, she caught sight of her other teachers.

"We got the bullies, Diane. Why are you out of breath?"
