Bette's eyes flashed open, unable to move as she looked around. Dot was in a deep sleep, nothing she said to her would transfer over properly. The rain outside was so loud, the paper still had Dandy's culling on the front page. Dandy... That sack of bulls balls was like fermented fish guts: shitty. The figure had gotten closer, fangs glinting in the light. Bette and Dot's heart raced, Dot's eyes flashing open as a blood curdling scream broke from her.

Within milliseconds, Bette watched you tackle the figure down with an avalanche of flying fists. Dot had began the motion to move, Bette following in terror as the light turned on. Blood splattered onto their legs, Bette feeling the urge to vomit at the unsettlingly cold feeling. The girls watched you rip at the higher ranking vampire's throat after pummeling him with punches. Bette wanted to pull you away, but her and Dot felt like a fawn in headlights, unable to move.

It only took seconds for you to throw the vampire out in the rain, his screams alerting the rest of the circus. Bette and Dot suddenly perked from their fight or flight response, feeling you hug them. "You're safe." You whispered, Bette seeing the ranking vampire's skin melt in the rain, decomposing in minutes over your shoulder. Dot's eyes were closed, but the image stayed with Bette.

She looked up at you, your fangs glinting in the light and your claws tipped with wood. She was so scared of you, and yet you protected her aways. "He won't get either of you ever again." The smell of cupcakes emitted from outside, the bittersweet reminder of what could've been their fate. "Who's talking in there!?" A voice called out, the lights going out. Bette and Dot hid you under their bed, watching you become a little mouse. When the lights turned back on, Bette and Dot held a wooden stake.

"Us! A vampire tried to get us, but we-we got em!" Dot spoke up, Bette nodding. The stare unnerved the two, then they were alone with you again. Back in the closet.
