Ship: Werewolf Linda Tripp x Reader

Note: Awkward Werewolf Linda

---

Linda ran her fingers through her hair, staring at her computer screen. She was so tired and yet deep inside she was shaking. Her tail had to be bound to her as it showed her true feelings and that was a nuisance because of one reason. Every time you walked past, her tail would start wagging like an excited puppy. Her eyes flicked up, seeing you walk up to her. Every miniscule hair on her body stood up, trying desperately to keep calm. "Hey, can I talk to you during lunch?" You asked, excitement like a ball in Linda's throat. "Yeah." She gave a small nod, seeing a small slip of paper handed over. She glanced down to it. Your phone number.

Linda smiled, disappearing from her cubicle after you were out of view. Her tail broke free from the bandage bindings, wagging with pure excitement. She stared at the number, her smile growing bigger and bigger until fur started to appear. Like a ripple across her body, she erupted in blonde and brown fur. She blinked, looking at her hands. "How am I going to go out there now?" She whispered, tail still thumping against one of the shelves in the supply closet.

"So, (Y/N). Are you free tonight?" Linda's ears swiveled, head snapping to where she heard the male voice. Just outside the door. "I'm actually hoping Linda would like to hang out tonight." Linda grinned at your voice, hand just over the doorknob. "Oh come on sweetheart, just you and me with a bottle of wine. You just might enjoy me more than her." The man offered. "I'd rather her beat me to a pulp." You scoffed, Linda hearing you go to walk away. "Hey, I'm still talking to you!" "Let go of me." "No, just hear me out-" "let go!" Linda opened the door, standing behind the man.

You looked up, eyes wide in shock. The man slowly turned around, letting go of your arm as he saw Linda. She reached up, claws digging into the ceiling. As she began to rip the material above her, the man stared in horror. A display of strength. Linda continued to stare at the man, opening her mouth. "Get away from her." She growled, the man fell as he ran, crawling away in total fear.

You on the other hand, stared up at her in wonder. "You're really strong." You whispered, Linda glancing down to you, lowering her arms and glancing back at the ceiling. "I won't tell anyone... So, how's about lunch? Perhaps even dinner?" You asked, taking her hand. You lead her through, people taking a double take as they saw her.

Linda sat with you, her wolf form refusing to drop as ever follicle of fur stood on end. She was staring at you, trying to make herself look smaller to not appear intimidating. "Why didn't you tell me you were a werewolf?" You finally broke the silence, Linda blinking. "I-I thought you'd get scared." She admitted, having not even taken a bite of her food. She watched you eat, to which you looked up at her again. "You know it's rude to stare, Ms. Tripp." You teased, seeing her sit up straight and awkwardly grab her fork. "I'm not scared of you, by the way. You're literally a seven foot tall wolf mixed with a German Shepherd." You reasoned, giving a small smile.

Linda nodded, tail wagging still. "Speaking of..." You caught Linda off-guard as you pulled her closer by the thick fur that covered her neck. You gave her a kiss, getting up. "See you tonight." You purred, booping her on the nose.

Linda watched you walk away, grabbing her tail as quickly as possible as she couldn't hold back a smile. That night, Linda took you to her favorite place to be for the full moon.

That night, you chose to be by her side through it all.
