Chapter 10- It's all over the news!
Once Lennie and I make it up to the rooftop we sneak behind the elevator and put my backpack by the side of the wall and look out to NYC. The buildings were all smaller next to the one I was standing on, we looked at the Empire state building, but SLA was not as tall as that.
I removed my jeans and my hoodie, revealing my outfit. I ran my fingers over the fabric on my arm and put on my black gloves that were cut off at the fingertips. Lennie stuffed the clothes in my backpack and got her camera out "Whoa, what do you think you are doing?" I asked.
"Pictures? They won't be that good, as I'm a writer not a photographer. I want to see how they will turn out, and we can make a few bucks off of them" She explains.
I nod and pull over my mask onto my face, I pick a certain spot and aim for a smaller building next to me. I put my hand in the special position of it facing outwards, the web then shoots out and takes hold of the building "Here goes nothing" I say.
I turn back to Lennie, she had her camera out and ready I smiled back to her "Be careful" She tells me.
"I'm not five" I laugh.
Then I jump.
The wind hits my face, but it is masked and yet still quite cold, the people below me are like small ants crawling around and always in a rush. I shoot another web onto another building, "Woohoo!" I scream.
The people look up to me, I wave and some wave back. I go towards the next building and I shot a web out, letting go over the previous web and holding on to another one.
I do this same motion, watching the crowd below me. Now most of them stop in their tracks, in their cars and focus on me. They cannot see that I am smiling, happy to be noticed they didn't know who I was and how much I was enjoying this moment.
For half an hour I do the same thing, attracting a large audience to the scene. I look down and see a bunch of children, 2nd graders I guessed. They watched me, as I moved from the building I focussed on them and smiled.
I turned around and carried on, until I hear a sharp piercing noise of a car honk. I look back towards the noise. A little girl who was with the 2nd graders is standing in the middle of the road, a speeding car hurdling towards her. I shoot a web back onto the building behind me and lunge for the girl, I take her by her waist and pull her across the road.
The little girl laughs as I put her down with her group "Again!" She giggles.
"Sorry little one. Maybe next time" I say her gently, I pat the top of her head and give her a high five.
She smiles, and joins her friends I turn around to see a group forming around me, pictures being snapped at me. Phones pointing straight at me "Who are you?" Somebody shouted.
I took a bow "I'm White-Widow"

After that I fled from the scene , re-joining Lennie. Her mouth was open and her camera hung around her neck startled, I hid behind a wall and removed my mask and quickly put on my jeans and hoodie again.
"Lennie, did you see me? I thought like I was flying, and I saved that little girl. The first heroic thing I have done, which will be one of many! You wait and see Len-" I say.
But then we were interrupted as the rooftop door swung open to see Tyler, the guy who was my tour guide the day I came with my school. He stumbles forwards, his face was sweaty, puffy and red, I watch him he looks at us and takes a unsteadily breath.
"W-w-what a-are y-ou doin-g here?" He says taking a small breath at every word.
"Oh, I had a science project and my Dad let me do some work. So me and my friend came to get some fresh air" I say.
He cocks his head "Who are you?" He says to me.
"Don't you remember? I'm Sierra Lawson?" I say suspiciously.
I stand there amazed, mostly every person in the building knows who I am from the pictures hung up on the wall. Except from the receptionist, who must have never bothered to look up from her computer.
Tyler lungs for me "You! You're the reason it happened!" He screamed.
I duck and stumble backwards "I think its best we leave Tyler to himself" I say to Lennie.
She nods, I pull her arm and we walk at a fast pace. Lennie goes through the door first, I hand her my backpack and wait behind. Watching Tyler. He stumbled as he walked, he started groaning and his legs started to give out.
"Tyler will you be okay? Do you need me to call the ambulance?" I ask.
"Get OUT!" He screams.
With that I do.

The next morning I woke up to the sound of my phone, playing I really Like You By Carly Rae Jepsen. I immediately jump out of bed and answer it "It's 6 in the morning, I should be asleep until half past!" I shout.
"Somebodies cranky, I get we have school today but that is no way to act to your best friend. Turn on your TV to any news channel now!" She orders me.
I do as she says, I get up and switch my TV on and go through my channels until I come to Daily NY, and then there it is. I'm on TV.
I'm on TV.
But not as Sierra Lawson, as White Widow.
"White-Widow was identified yesterday, she had been seen multiple times from 3pm to 4:30pm. Appeared to be swinging from a web like rope around New York City, we know her name from her telling a civilian. After rescuing a young girl named Jessica Boscario, she managed to take the girl off the street from her web ropes and pulled her onto the side walk-" The news reporter says.
"It's all over the news!" I say flipping through the channels.
"Welcome White Widow!"
