Chapter 30- That Blood Stained Needle.
Blood poured out like the fountain of youth, the slightly darker colour of my crimson red blood was thick and smelt of the metallic. As the blood was drained I gripped my hand tight into my palm, causing my fingers to leave marks inside of my palms.
Once the blood was finally drained James-now-Jem released the fine needle from my arm and examined to blood. He quickly took out the blood again and placed it into a small beaker, throwing the needle into the bin.
"What are you doing with that?" I asked as he threw the blood stained needle into the small bin next to him.
"Throwing it away Einstein, we don't need it anymore" He says placing the beaker to one side.
"We can't just throw the needle away, it has my DNA on it! We need to take it with us!" I say reaching down into the bin and pulling the needle out. I examined the needled and quickly propped it into my bag "You can throw it in a dumpster later"
He nods and gets up from his chair, and slowly sits on top of the table computer. "We can't just let Tyler get away with this Rosie" He says, I nod. As he moves around on his seat the computer turns on.
"Now look what you have done!" I say, I push him off the table and examine the computer. The screen isn't blank, but a long document is on the screen with the words written The Aranea Pill. Test no.56 Successful.
Subject 67 Aranea was a success with effects from DNA eliminated. Aranea 67 has no further superior to the ordinary house spider, no extra strength or webbing action is eliminated, hearing decreases within half an hour of Pill fed through the veins. The Aranea Pill has been officially proves to be successful in eliminating all effects of extra senses.
That was only just the beginning, there was a long list of the tests carried out, pictures were taken of the spiders before and after. Theories were written too, along with a hypothesis and some many calculations and formulas. The screen was went on forever, until I got to the very ending paragraph.
This the Aranea Pill now successful human trials are to be carried out, but only for one specific purpose to eliminate Sierra Rose Lawson.
Test carried out by: Hannah and Michael Lawson.
"Oh...my...god" I breathed. I looked at the screen and kept on scrolling, and there were diagrams, charts and pictures. Pictures of myself. The pictures were from when I was younger just after the Accident, and there was myself in before and after photos only taken a few weeks apart. My face on a before was chubby, my eyes squinted and freckles dotted along my nose. But on after after, I had lost weight, cheekbones had deepened and the freckles were gone, with my eyes widened.
Other pictures were of my hands, on one picture was my bony hand, on the other was a stronger hand and slightly longer fingers. The pictures kept going, of myself over the years. Some were just pictures they had taken from the picnics in the park, but now dotted with notes. And then I came to the picture.
It was myself no doubt, no older than fourteen. But I was under wires, and apart of my head was open, at the back of my head to exact.
I dug my hands into my head, trying to feel along the scar. "They lied to me" I scowled. My parents had told me I had that scar because I fell from a rooftop when I had just found out about my webbing, but that was a lie.
Once I found the scar I followed along the line, and then down to my neck where another scar remained. "They lied to me!" I screamed again "Everything! Every detail of a scar and every trace! And this was why, they experimented on me and all for this god damned pill! To eliminate, James. To eliminate me, their only daughter" The words burst out, my anger rippling through my body, rage surge within my blood and veins. The blood within myself ran with my parents, who were willing to eliminate me.
"Rosie calm down!" James shouted, gripping hold of my arms. He clenched his hands tight on my arms, keeping me close to him. "Everybody has their darkest of secrets, I know I do. These experiments are your parents darkest secrets, and yours is being the White Widow. You cannot let yourself be engulfed in this anger, because if you do you will regret everything for the rest of your life!"
I clenched my fists and moved them slowly away from my neck "My parents wanted a perfect daughter, instead they got me. Sierra Lawson died on her 13th birthday, and White Widow was born. That is who I am now Jem, I'm not Sierra"
Slowly the anger drifted, my breathing started to slow down and my head didn't pound. "We may not love each other, but I care about what you do next" Jem says in a quiet voice.
I grinned "Oh you really care?"
"Rosie, we can use this on Tyler. We can eliminate him and never speak of this again udnerstand?"
I nodded, the rage and anger still burned "Eliminate Tyler"
