Chapter 28- No feelings, no fights, no fraud.
I run to school, sprinting most of the way. My bag bounces against my back hurting every step I took as my legs powered me. As I continued to run the sky slowly turned grey and the rain plummeted down. A Rolls Royce gently rode up by the side of the road, the window rolled down to reveal James.
"Need a lift?" He asks.
I nod, James opens the door and I get inside. He moves over to the other window and places his bag below his feet, he was still dressed unlike the usual James, wearing a button down shirt and jeans and a blazer jacket. His hair was also scraped back which defiantly said, I'm a billionaires son. He keeps to his seat and continues to stare out of the window.
"What's the matter cat got your tounge?" I ask brushing off the droplets from my raincoat.
He laughs "I thought you hated me"
"I dislike you, there's a difference. Nobody truly hates another person because at the end we either feel sorry for them or-" I began before he turned to my direction and smiled. "I won't hate you because then I might feel sorry for you, so if I just dislike you I'm like every other human being"
"What if I hate you?' He asks.
"Well good luck with that, it was your idea for us to 'date' in the first place. So you must feel some sympathy for me, which leads back to hate and when you get feelings for the person you hate" I start up again, but before I say anything else the car stops. "Well I have class"
"So do I" He takes my hand as I step out of the Rolls.
"Well I have Bio" I say trying to throw him off.
"So do I Si, aren't you forgetting we have most classes together"
I laugh and then turn back into a straight face and start to walk beside him "Never call me Si again, only my parents are allowed to" I snap at him. He smiles and follows after me, he walks a few steps behind me as I slowly start to power walk into the building. Then I see Lennie, handing out what looked like this weeks new addition of the school newspaper.
James continues to follow behind me as I take one of the newspaper. Please don't be about my photoshoot, I prayed as I looked down to the title.
New Yorks Princess! Screamed the headline.
Get the insider into what went down at Sierra Rose Lawson's photo-shoot at Caste headquarters with Juliano and Gabriel Lancaster! By Lennie. The photo on the very first page was from my photo-shoot, the picture was like a behind-the-scenes image with myself posing and the photographer taking the actual picture.
"Thanks Lennie this is really what I need right now...not" I say sarcastically.
"But I thought you were okay with the article?" She asks.
I nod "It's just, all the other newspapers including the Times have an article about me in them. My parents weren't particular happy that I actually got the modelling my gig and that I was on the front cover instead of them"
Lennie laughs "That is the most selfish thing I have ever heard! God your parents are such douchebags!"
"Hey at least they accepted my boyfriend"
Lennie looks towards James, "Yeah..."
******
At Lunch Lennie and I gathered inside in one of the open classrooms as the rain still streamed through the charcoal coloured sky. The rain hadn't stopped since this morning and some areas where slowly becoming flooded.
