She never understood why Dr. Bailey was so mean to Interns until now. She had only been with her interns for five hours and already she wanted to kill him. Someone was punishing her, because the interns she had been given, were completely awful. Dr. Lydia Hanley was a Grade A Bitch, Dr. Colbert was some stuck up rich frat boy and Dr. Sims seemed to think he was the smartest of any attending. So her interns sucked, Completely sucked and even Dr. Meghan Finnigan seemed to be the dumbest of them all. She had asked what a rectal exam was, leaving Meredith to just walk away.

She needed her husband right now, the husband who had told her that the new interns would be great, because he was a liar. A stupid Brain man of a liar and now, she was going to kill him. "You're a liar!"

"What are you doing here?" Derek asked, saying good bye to another attending he was speaking to before turning to his wife.

"Hiding from my interns...and I hate you."

"What happened?"

"You talked to the Chief...you told him to give me the worlds worst group of interns didn't you?" She asked, before walking down the hall.

"Meredith...Stop." Derek laughed, finally catching up to her.

"My interns are evil."

"Let's go to my office."

"Great." Meredith groaned as he took her hand, catching a glimpse of Dr. Finnigan and Dr. Hanley laughing as they walked down the hall. "Go to the pit!"

"Come on." Derek chuckled, leading her into his quiet office.

"They probably think I'm screwing you now." Meredith groaned, sitting on the couch in his office.

"They might."

"Dr. Hanley...she's the brunette one...she's evil."

"They're interns, Mer." Derek laughed, sitting down next to her.

"She's a psycho bitch."

"You know this after one shift?"

"My interns are....definitely worse then the interns Bailey had...we were angels in comparison."

"No you weren't." Derek laughed.

"I so was...I mean besides having sex all over the hospital...I was an angel." Meredith replied.

"Give them a break, Mer. It's the first day."

"I don't...stop making it not seem that bad."

"That's my job as your husband."

"I don't like you as my husband today."

"Hmm...You did this morning."

"That was this morning...this is now." She said, propping her feet up on the coffee table in his office.

"I'm sorry you have sucky interns." He said, putting his arm around her.

"Thank you." She said, finally sounding relieved.

"What did...Dr. Hanley do that was so...psycho bitchish?"

"She just says things...and rolls her eyes and I told her to start a central IV and she told me to do it myself."

"What did you say?"

"The patient was coding...I told her to move and I did it." Meredith whispered, resting her head on his shoulder. "Then Dr. Colbert laughed and said he would rather get dental work done then have me as a resident. He wants a guy resident."
