Chapter 28: Gloomy

Natasha's POV

I woke up early next day just like what Valerian told me to.

After we had dinner- I mean, I had dinner because I was the only one who ate and he just watched me after he cooked for me.

Valerian cooked steak for me until I was finally satisfied.

I was so full after I ate everything.

The good thing is, Valerian didn't complain or anything and he just cooked for me.

So when he told me to wake up early, I didn't complain and did exactly what he said.

He told me that he would bring me to work again. And when I asked him why, he told me that because we are going to do something important.

I asked him what is the "important" thing we would do but he didn't tell me and I didn't bother him anymore because he might change his mind and wouldn't want to bring me anymore.

I don't want to be left alone here because I have nothing to do and I will surely get bored.

I quickly took a shower and prepared myself.

I can't decide if I'm going to wear a dress again.

My mind wanders to Valerian as I stares at the dresses that Elyse bought that are now all inside the closet.

Me wearing sexy clothes makes him loses his mind and I don't know if I should wear seductive dress again and do that on purpose or not and just behave.

I chuckled at my thought.

Behave, huh.

At the end, I decided to wear a high waisted jeans and partnered it with a sage green mesh crop cami top.

This top is so beautiful and sexy. Elyse really has a good taste in fashion. You can trust your life with her in terms of fashion, I can really say that.

I'm so glad the top looks good with the jeans.

To complete the look, I wore the high heels Elyse bought for me.

It has butterfly design on it and it looks so elegant.

Gosh, I can always compliment Elyse's fashion sense.

I have never realized that having things like these would give me joy and satisfaction.

I didn't have much time for things like fashion before and having to experience it right now just make me really happy.

After I was satisfied with everything, I went downstairs.

I found Valerian sitting on the living room with his legs crossed.

I walked closer towards him and saw that he is writing something.

Valerian is dressed with his usual office attire and he looks so neat and expensive in it.

I bet the price of the clothes he is wearing is also so expensive. He's a billionaire vampire after all.

"I'm done," I told him. "We can go now."

Valerian stopped with what he's doing and looked up at me.

Seems like he didn't notice my arrival because his attention is so focus with whatever it is that he is writing.

Valerian closed the notebook and placed it on the center table. He then walked closer to me.

I quickly took a step back.

Valerian looks confused but my sudden action.

"What's the matter, Natasha?" he asked.

I looked at Valerian's wrist and saw a silver wristwatch.
