Natasha's POV

My hand was left hanging when the door of my room opened before I could even touch the doorknob.

"Good morning," Valerian greeted me.

"Good morning," I greeted him back as I subtly took a step back because I realized that we were a little bit too close to each other and I was starting to get flustered.

I want to scold myself for feeling this way around him lately but I literally can't do anything about it because my feelings are so stubborn.

I guess I will just let myself feel what I feel instead of trying to make sense of it because I can't— I will just lose my mind.

"I have things to do in the office, you want to come?" Valerian asked.

I nod. "I guess, I have nothing to do here except rot in your house all day."

It's true, whenever Valerian works and I'm left alone at his house, I literally have nothing to do but wait for him to come home.

I like the peacefulness and silence in his house but it gets boring and well... lonely.

Unlike when I'm in his office, even if he has nothing for me to do there, at least there are a lot of people there and sometimes, Elyse would visit me, and we hang out.

"Let's go then," Valerian said before turning his back on me.

I followed him down the stairs and while I was walking beside him, I couldn't help but stare at Valerian; at his whole physique.

His tall height is so perfect for his body— his broad shoulders and his big biceps.

Suddenly, pictures of his naked body with his 6 pack abs exposed started flashing in my mind.

I had to clear my throat to get those images out of my mind.

Valerian suddenly stopped walking and glanced back at me.

"It's nothing," I quickly said.

I wouldn't be caught dead daydreaming about his naked body when he's literally in front of me just a few meters away.

He continued walking out of the house and into his car, I just followed him inside.

In all fairness, since I had that talk and "moment" with Valerian, his treatment changed— in a good way. He was consistent in being nice to me. He was true to his words. He told me that he wouldn't do it again, and he didn't.

"You have something important going on today?" I asked.

Valerian nodded as he maneuvered his car looking so sinfully hot.

Fuck, this devil.

He was wearing a black tuxedo that perfectly fit him like it was tailored just for him with perfect measurements of his body.

It was too perfect. He looks so perfect driving beside me.

Valerian is also wearing a wristwatch with a black leather strap.

I bet a silver watch would perfectly suit him and will complement his tuxedo but I noticed how he stopped wearing anything silver the moment he learned that I was intolerant to silver and it was a werewolf's weakness.

I mentally smiled.

Goodness, I'm such a fool.

"Do you want to come with me?" he suddenly asked, without looking at me. His eyes are focused on the road, and he has his full attention on driving— which I'm thankful for because he's not looking at me and he wouldn't see the glint of smile on my face.
