Natasha's POV
Valerian kissed me passionately as the sun slowly set.
I opened my eyes and I saw how gorgeous Valerian was under the sun illuminating his face.
I broke off our kiss and moved a little away from him to see his face properly and gosh, I think I'm going to melt seeing how handsome Valerian is. He is so beautiful.
"You look pretty," Valerian said.
We are now staring into each other's faces intently, admiring each other's beauty.
"You handsome devil," I blurted out.
Valerian chuckled upon hearing what I said.
I wanted to apologize for calling him a devil but looks like he was not offended by it. Of course, he thought I was just teasing, he didn't know that that's my little nickname for him.
I mentally chuckled.
"Natasha," Valerian called.
I flashed a little smile. "What is it?"
"I have a question that might make you a little uncomfortable."
My heart started beating fast inside my chest upon hearing what Valerian just said.
Oh fuck.
What is he going to ask and why is it going to make me uncomfortable?
Is it about my family?
My pack?
My hometown?
I practiced the lies I'd already said to him inside my mind— remembering and rehearsing them to make sure I wouldn't mix up the lies I had made.
"What's your question?" I asked, getting myself and my lies ready to answer whatever his question was.
"Do you want to do it here?" Valerian asked.
My forehead automatically creased. "Huh?" I was sure that there was an invisible question mark plastered all around my face as I looked at him full of confusion.
Valerian cleared his throat as he swiftly shifted his gaze from me. He looked straight ahead.
"You know, "it". I want to do "it" here. Right now," Valerian said.
Slowly, the confusion on my face was washed over by shock as I started to realize what he meant.
Oh goodness!
"Oh, you don't mean— do you mean the—" I trailed off, not even able to finish what I wanted to say.
Valerian turned to face me completely.
He nodded.
I felt my cheeks automatically heated up by his response.
"Oh, Valerian!" I exclaimed as I looked at him unbelievably. "Are you serious?"
He nodded once again. "Yeah, I really really want you right now."
"Right here?! Oh, you can't be serious!"
"I'm sorry, darling. Did my question make you uncomfortable?"
Uncomfortable? More like embarrassed and I don't even know why I am the one who is embarrassed, gosh.
I shook my head. "No— I mean, there's a lot of people here right now!"
My eyes roamed the surroundings and I was right.
There are people scattered around enjoying the view. There are even people down the beach and we're literally at the top of a hill.
We can't be putting a show here right now! Gosh, what is Valerian even thinking?
