Natasha's POV
Valerian heaved a sigh. Probably because of the frustration Elyse and Ezra have brought him.
"Yeah, it's disgusting to think about it but you know it's true," Ezra said referring to what he just said about what me and Valerian will going to do if they leave.
Elyse groaned. "Ugh, stop!"
"But you know I'm right, right?" Ezra insisted.
"Yes." Elyse agreed as she laugh too. "Maybe we should really leave now before Valerian kills us and to give them some privacy."
"I am really going to do that if you two won't stop," Valerian warned.
His voice came out cold and full of authority.
Ezra signaled Elyse to zip her mouth.
These two, especially Elyse, have been saying to stop but they actually never really did. They just continued to tease us again and again and argue about stopping.
I could just draw a breath at their antics.
"Fine, we're going to stop now." Elyse finally said probably because it really shows now that Valerian is already pissed off.
"But aren't you really going to just let Natasha stand beside you? Her feet are going to be sore." Elyse glared at Valerian.
"Oh." I slightly gasped when Valerian pulled me by the waist making me sit on his lap.
Fuck.
I could just hold my breath as I sat on him but I automatically calmed down after a few seconds.
It's probably because Valerian and I are so close with each other and it's not because he is choking me.
"Awww, you two look great with each other," Elyse commented as she looked at us with dreamy eyes. "I wonder when will I have my own mate. I want a werewolf mate too."
"You can't just have a werewolf mate, Ely." Ezra chuckled.
"I know." She sighed. "So unfair. I will basically just be alone my entire life."
"You're not," Valerian chimed in. "You will have someone with you."
"Yeah," Ezra agreed. "Why don't you go out and lure some human?"
I felt Valerian's chest vibrate as he chuckled because of what Ezra said.
This bastard.
He is really a devil.
"Hey!" Elyse gave Ezra a disgusting look. "I'm not going to do that. That's so immoral. And besides Valerian was right. I will have someone with me— not just "someone". I'm sure Valerian and Natasha's children will love me and they would want to spend time with me so I wouldn't be alone." Elyse smiled sweetly.
"Yes, and in able for them to give you niece and nephew, I think we need to leave now," Ezra said.
Elyse looked at him. "You think so?"
"Yup," Ezra replied and winked at her.
Elyse quickly stood up followed by Ezra.
"Where are you guys going?" I asked creasing my eyebrows.
I thought they were just kidding about leaving and I know Valerian was also just kidding about making them leave.
Elyse just winked at me as she turned her back on us. Ezra did the same.
Elyse and Ezra weren't playing around, they really leave us alone in Valerian's office.
I quickly stood up from Valerian's lap and sat on the chair in front of him.
I don't think I can stay longer that close to him.
