(Hey guys I decided leo was going to be the last chapter because of reasons)
It was a week after the incident. Me and Chels are still together just so you know. Luke won't stop bugging Chels, mainly to bug me. But everything was peaceful at the moment. Me and Chels speed time together a lot more now. I still hang out with my best friends who were in the Argo II with me. Chelsea hangs out with them too. She mainly hangs out with Piper or Annabeth most of the time. Everything seems right for once. I don't have to sleep with one eye open. (Leo come on!- chelsea okay Princess) at the breakfast Pavillon chiron announced "we are going to hold a feast for our saviors at camp Half-Blood, since we have no need for quests lately." Everybody started to clap hands and they were all excited. "The event is formal" mr. D announced. Some people were happy but the ares kids were not. Chelsea squeezed my arm. "You may have dates to the even if you would like. Dancing food and drink will all be at the feast" chiron announced. Cheers went up. Luke runs up to chelsea. "Chelsea?" He asks. "Yes?" She says. "Will you be my date tonight?" He asks. That son of a, you know what? I won't say it. "I, I um" chelsea starts to say. She looks over at me basically wanting me to say something. "Go ahead" i mouth. "Uh sure I'll go with you" she says. "Yes! Chelsea said yes!" Luke yells. Everyone starts to look at him but he doesn't care. Great now my date is going with someone else. Who should I ask? Clairesse, oh gods no. Piper, Annabeth, hazel- taken. I look over and j see Thalia. Perfect. I walk over to Thalia. "Hey you wanna be my date?" I ask. She looks at me crazy. "Help a friend out here" I say. "Sure, yeah okay" Thalia says. "Thanks your a lifesaver" I say. I walk back over to chelsea. "Thalia?" She asks. "Yeah so? She's a friend" I say. "When did this happen?" She asks. "When you were gone on a quest. She finally talked to me" I say. "Oh" she says. "Yeah" I say. "I'm gonna be late for helping the kids Weapon making" she says. "Yeah bye princess" I say. "Bye" she says as she kisses my cheek. "Ouch" Jason says. "Shut up" I say. "Dude, she basically rejected you In front of your face" Jason says. "I know" I say with glum basically written on my face. "Let's go do something" Jason says. "What?" I ask. "Video games. You. Me." Jason says. That forms a smile on my face. "Let's do it" I say.
Luke's pov
I was at the breakfast table when my siblings asked me the question. "You asked the hot girl to the feast?" "Well obviously" I say. "You have got to be kidding me! I was going to ask her!" Connor yells. "Really immature brother" Travis says but then mutters "dang I wish I was Luke." Yeah, yeah i know, luckiest guy because she Literally gets hit on everyday from newbies, people like us, and people who don't catch up. She doesn't like all the attention though. She's not like every girl who is hot. She's not a attention whore or a slut or a b****. She's chelsea, and that's good. She just chooses the wrong guy to date. She's probably confused so im here to help. Hint, hint. Anyways, I get up from the breakfast table and go to sword-fighting because that's what's on my schedule.
Chelsea's pov
I'm completely free since chiron gave me one day off which is Saturday. I started to help my little brother out with magic. He's doing really good for the fact that he's a 9 year old. He has already started to learn about shadow traveling. Although, I'm not on board with him doing all that yet, he's been bugging me about it. I dont completely think he is ready yet. When I helped him someone taped on my shoulder. I look around nothing and turn the other way and then leo kissed me. "hey" I say. "Hey Chels. And hi little buddy" he says waving to my brother. "Hi" my brother says. "Keep doing what your doing and I'll be back" I say. "Sure" my brother says sarcastically. I follow leo as he walks away. "So what do you need?" I ask. "This" he says. I was confused for a split second but then he kissed me. "What was that for?" I ask. "No reason" he says. "Okay thanks? Anyways I'm sorry I couldn't be your date to the dance" I say. "It's fine we will still dance right?" He asks. People com running by with flyers. "So umm chiron made some new plans its mascaraed themed" the teenage boy says while giving us each a flyer. "This is gonna be cool!" Leo says. "Yeah. I gotta get back to my brother see you later okay?" I ask. "Yeah when I'm making out with you" he says. I hit him on the arm. "Ow" he continues, "I was just joking. I kissed him on the cheek. "Bye princess" he still says while holding my hand. "Bye" I say while letting go. I go help my brother with sword training.
(Several hours later)
I finally managed to get done with all the Jazz that comes into a dance. I have a white dress that flows to my feet. I have white heels and jewelry. Last but not least my mask. I hear a knock at my door. I open it and see a handsome man walk through. He had his mask on but he took it off. It was luke. "You look beautiful" he says. "And you are very handsome" I say. "Come on let's get to the dance" he says. While we were walking to the big house where the dance was we talked. Mostly about how we could finally relax without any problems. He told me that I can rely on him and if u need to talk with somebody, he's there. I told him same goes for me. We entered the big house. Everyone was there, or at least it seemed like it. Luke's hands were locked into mine and then I saw him. Leo staring at me. I immediately let go and Luke offers, "do you want some punch?" "Yeah thanks" I say. He walks off the get down punch. Leo slowly approaches me. "Hey stranger" he says. "Well hello, is it, Leo? Leo Valedez?" I say jokingly. "Yes it is my lady" he says. I let out a chuckle. "You look beautiful tonight" he says. "And your not bad yourself" I say but then mutter, "for once." "Hey I'm not that bad!" He says. "Well most of the time your covered in grease." I say. "Okay fine you win" he says. I didn't realize Luke was next to me until he handed me my punch. "Thanks" I say. "Well in going to go to Thalia see you all later" leo says. Then a slow dance comes on. "Wanna dance?" He asks. "I would love to" I say. He escorts me to the dance floor and puts his arms around my waist. I wrap my arms around his neck. "You know, for someone who isn't my girlfriend Sometimes you act like it" Luke says. "Is that so?" I ask. "Yeah you hold my hands, you kiss me on the cheek. I mean you do that stuff with leo" he says. "Well those are friendly more than romantic" I say. "Oh" he says. That's all he manages to say. "Look I'm sorry I said that. I know you like me and stuff but" I say but I get cut off. "Follow me we need to talk" he says. He grabs my hand and pulls me far from the bug house. "okay I'm going to say this even if you feel this way. Okay, chelsea, I love you. It's more than like. When I first laid my eyes on you I knew you were the one. Once I found you again I felt so relieved and that I could kiss you again. But I couldn't. You know why? Because of HIM. He was in the way. He's always going to be in the way. Do you really think I like you being with him? Well I don't. I'm so madly in love with you i can't stand one minuet you next to that guy" he says. "Luke" I say. "No tell me what you feel" Luke says. He brings me close and puts my hand on his heart. "What do you feel?" He says. "I feel, I feel really close to you. I feel like I can trust you and love you as a, a" I say, I couldn't say it. "What?" He says. "Look Luke I love you and all but-" I say. "Then kiss me" he says. I kissed him. I couldn't help myself. He kissed back but I stopped him. "I can't, we can't do this Luke and you know it" I say. "Please, be with me. I love you" he says. "You know I can't Luke. It's leo and its always going to be leo" I say. I looked at him. His eyes are full of sorrow. "I'm sorry Luke" I say. He looks at me desperately. "Why him?" He says. "I don't know okay?" I say. I embrace him. "I'm sorry." I say. He didn't speak one word. I lightly kissed him on the cheek. I went back inside. Everyone was dancing to a song I didn't know. Luke came in and tried to put on his happy face. "You wanna dance" he asks. "I'd love to" I say. He escorts me once again to the dancing area and we start dancing to the song. The thing is, Luke didn't know how to dance. It made me laugh and then he sang to the song, which made me laugh even harder. "You like that?" He asks. "No" I say between laughing. "You totally do" he says. "Yeah sure" I say sarcastically. I look around. I see leo and Thalia by the snacks. He's staring directly at Luke. Maybe with resentment or hate? I don't know. I haven't really done anything with him this dance. It was all circled around Luke. It seemed to always be circles around him. He's the reason so many conflicts occur between me and leo. But yet I can't stay away from Luke as much as I try. The feeling of lonesome kicked in once he left the house of hades when he left to become kronos' slave. I loved him, I did. But then my love for leo is way too strong. I confused. There's always a prophecy and there must be something to help me decide. I feel like Bella from twilight. Torn between two boys who love me equally. Let's snap back into reality. When I was dancing I felt something tugging at me. My ears started ringing. I wailed in pain and fell. I closed my eyes shut trying to brace the pain. I couldn't hear but I bet everyone was looking at me. Then it all stopped.
Luke's pov
Chelsea fell down screaming, covering her ears. I embraced her comforting her. Then she went limb in my arms. "Chelsea?" I asked, "no,no, no chelsea." She opened her eyes which were bright green, definitely not her normal eye color. She rose. "Chelsea?" I asked weakly. "A new prophecy has begun" a voice, which was not chelsea says.
A/n: hey guys I'm sorry that I haven't published the last chapter in WEEKS! I've been busy with school, YOUTUBE, and thinking of new stories.
