"Dante, I thought you were held up; how did you get here so fast" asked Levi laying his head on Dante's chest, hearing the man's heartbeat through his clothes.
"I said that I would send you back, didn't I? How could I not keep my words" answered Dante wrapping his arms around Levi's thin waist?
Levi silently smiled at Dante's words, slightly nodding his head in acknowledgement. No words were spoken as the two individuals stood in front of the door in the cold dark room, embracing each other.
A good amount of time passes before Dante reluctantly releases his hold on Levi, gently grabbing him by the shoulder before speaking.
"Tomorrow morning, I will come and pick you up for your first class, wait for me."
"You don't have to do that. Don't you also have morning class tomorrow? It will be a hassle for you."
"No, I will wait for you in the foyer near the entrance," said Dante, slightly pecking Levi's lips before opening the door to the room; the light in the hallway shone into the darkroom, illuminating the doorway.
Levi walked outside his room behind Dante and watched as the other male walked further away. Dante turned his head to look at Levi before producing a heart sign with his hand that gained a smile from Levi before disappearing out of sight.
Levi turned back to his room with the smile still on his face; he shut the door and turned on the lights, instantly brightening the whole room. Looking towards his rooms, Levi let out a sigh once he saw the pile of work he needed to finish before his next lesson.
Levi was so engrossed in the work that he failed to see Dylan walking in, holding his windbreaker in one hand while the other had a basketball; it wasn't until Dylan loudly placed his basketball down did Levi moved his eyes away from his books and looked at Dylan.
"Hey, how was the game? Did you win?"
"Yeah, we crushed them; if only you were there to see, you would have seen me shoot a three-pointer from across the court a few seconds before time was up."
"Sorry, I needed to clear my head."
"And how are you now? You looked pale earlier. Is everything alright.?"
"Mn, I'm alright now. I have a lot of work to do before tomorrow's class; I'm going to finish this then go to bed; Goodnight."
"Ok, I'm going to shower", replied Dylan getting up from his bed. Grabbing his towel, he strutted into the shared bathroom.
Early the following day, Levi, who had always been a light sleeper, got up at precisely seven; grabbing his phone, he unlocked it to see a message from his mother, who had replied to him about the matter of him finding out he was an omega.
Levi had wanted to ask his mother why she didn't mention anything about him being an omega or why his pheromones started only now and not earlier like most people his age.
Levi crumpled at this mother's message, letting out a long sigh. He closed his phone and put it on the table next to the work he had completed well into the night.
Walking past Dylan's room Levi went into the small bathroom to freshen up before stepping into the small kitchen area to make himself breakfast.
After eating and cleaning, Levi left the extra meal that he made on the benchtop covering it up with a plastic wrap for Dylan.
Once everything was done, Levi gently and quietly left his room and made his way to the foyer, feeling nervous and wondering if Dante was waiting for him. It was not that Levi did not trust
Dante. He had not known Dante long enough to determine how far their relationship would go or what kind of person he was, and the fact that they both do not belong in the same circle played a considerable part.
Dante is handsome, calm, intelligent and athletic, compared to him, who is small, dull-looking and an introvert; no matter how anyone looks at it, they do not match. One of the biggest questions that Levi is still trying to understand is why Dante would want to be with someone like him.
Exiting the automatic doors leading out to the foyer, Levi stood still and gawked at the scene in front of him. Standing at the entrance of the dorm building, leaning against the door panel, was Dante, who was busy looking at his phone, not realising that he had caught the attention of everyone walking past him.
Levi lifted his feet slowly, making his way towards Dante, who, upon sawing Levi walking over, looked away from his phone and smiled at Levi's slow, hesitant pace. It wasn't until Levi was a few steps away did Dante spoke in a raspy voice.
"Morning, are you ready to go?"
"Mn yeah", answered Levi while his eyes scoured the room, looking at the few people in the foyer.
"Come, let's go."
Nodding his head, Levi walked out of the building first, followed by Dante walking a few steps behind. Once they reached a much quieter place, Dante walked up to Levi and took his bag from him, carrying it on his shoulders.
Knowing that Levi would disapprove of his little act, Dante quickly walked ahead. When he was a reasonable distance away from Levi, he turned his body around; seeing the confused look on Levi's face, Dante couldn't help but chuckle before asking his question.
"Did you already have breakfast"
Levi, standing there quietly, feeling slightly shocked at Dante's action, quickly sobered up from his stupor and ran up towards Dante before answering the other person's question.
"Yes, I already ate"
"Pity, let's have breakfast tomorrow at the cafeteria, or we could go out of campus and find something nice to eat."
"Mmhm, by the way, when is your first class starting?"
"Same time as yours at nine."
"And where is your building," asked Levi
"On the other side of the campus."
"Then what are you doing all the way here? You need to hurry up and get to your class, or you're going to be late," said Levi reaching out to grab his bag from Dante.
Dante, who was silently enjoying being touched all over by the other male, gently moved the bag further away from Levi's reach. Feeling like he was being played with, Levi stood on his tippy toes, trying to grab the bag from Dante.
As he reached his hand in, Dante turned his head around, his lips colliding with Levis's own; two pairs of eyes watched each other while their lips were still locked on one another. It wasn't until the sounds of footsteps could be heard did Levi quickly reacted and moved his body a few steps away from Dante.
A student that lived in the same dormitory as Levi quickly walked passed, greeting them both as they continued on to their first lesson.
Levi let out a small laugh at the feeling of nearly being caught and looked toward Dante, who also had a smile.
