After his class ended, Levi walked towards his dorm; it had been a week since his phone call with his mum promising to be home this weekend; excitement and anxiety currently occupied his current feelings, especially when he saw the look on Dante's when he mentioned meeting his family Levi saw how his face had a worried look on them before it disappeared as quickly as it came.

Opening the door to his room, Levi was presented with an image of Dante putting the last bit of his clothing into a duffle bag before zipping it up.

"Are you done packing?"

"Welcome back; how was your evening class?" replied Dante getting up from his spot on the sofa and walking towards Levi before hauling the other man into his embrace and pecking the other lips.

"Class was good, are you done packing? Should we leave now?" asked Levi once more.

"Yes, let's leave now. I want to stop at the shopping mall before we head off. Are you done with your bag?" asked Dante, indicating to the small bag on the bed.

Levi nodded his head and proceeded to walk towards the bed. He opened his closed bag and put his notes from his afternoon lecture and books into it to revise when he was at his mum's house.

When they arrived at Levi's home, the sky had turned entirely dark, and the night air became chilly. Dante turned off his car engine and lights before focusing on the person beside him. As soon as they hit the highway, Levi drifted off to sleep after giving Dante his mum's address. Dante did not want to wake the sleeping beauty, but if he didn't, who knows how long they would be out here; with that thought, Dante gently shook Levi.

"Mmm, what is it? Are we here already?"

"Yes, beautiful, we are here."

"Ohh", replied Levi with a yawn.

Dante gave out a little smile and childlike behaviour to Levi before opening his car door and walking around to open Levi's door for him, then opening the back door to get out their bags and the small gift that Dante had bought at the shopping mall for Levi's mother.

"Dante, you didn't have to buy this for my mum. She wouldn't mind if we came empty-handed."

"Levi baby, it is only customs that I need to buy your mother a gift. I am meeting her for the first time now. I need to make a good impression."

Walking towards the driveway, Levi removed his keys from his pocket and unlocked the door. Once standing in the entranceway, he shut the door behind him and indicated for Dante to leave their bag on the floor before calling out to his mum while leading Dante towards the living room.

Once she heard her name calling out, Amelia popped her head from the kitchen. She had a broad smile on her face once she saw Levi.

"Levi, sweety, how are you?" asked Amelia hugging Levi.

"Mama, I missed you."

"And this must be Dante. I'm Amelia, but you can call me Mama Mia."

"It is a pleasure to meet you," said Dante kissing Amelia on her cheeks.

"Please, if you don't mind, I bought something tonight. I hope you can accept it," said Dante handing her a medium size gift bag.

"Oh no, you didn't have to do that."

"Please, it would make me very happy."

"Oh, very well, please sit down dinner will be ready soon. Levi, honey, why don't you take Dante to your room and freshen up? I'll call you both when dinner is ready."

"Okay, Mama, Dante, let's go."

Levi led Dante up the stairs and into the third door on the right. Once he opened his room, he saw that his Mama had put out new bedsheets and blankets for the three days he would be here.

"Come in; this is my room. Ordinarily, you can put our bags on the bed. Do you want to unpack first or.."

Levi stops mid-sentence when he realises Dante was not paying attention to him but rather to pictures of his dad and him when he was just three years old.

"That's my father. He died shortly after this photo was taken."

"Beautiful, I'm sorry I didn't mean to..."

"It's okay. I don't mind."

Seeing the look distance look on Levi, Dante put the photo back in its place and pulled Levi into his embrace, gently caressing the other.

'Your father must have been a wonderful person. I can understand why he did what he needed to do to save you."

Levi and Dante stood in the middle of the room, embracing each other it wasn't until the door to his room burst open that the two separated.

Mia wanted to scare her brother out of his wits, but the scene in front of her made her stop all her mischief ideas.

"Sorry, I forgot you were bringing someone special; Mama asked me to tell you that dinner is ready."

"Mia, it's so good to see you", said Levi walking towards Mia and giving her a hug before turning to Dante.

"Dante, this is Mia my older sister."

"Hi, it's a pleasure to meet you."

"Dante let us go downstairs see you down there, Mia don't take too long up here or ill eat all the dessert," said Levi pulling a smiling Dante and walking down towards the dining room.

Once Levi and Dante were out of her sigh Mia leaned against the door frame, trying to calm her beating heart before she made her way downstairs.
