Chapter 23

After steadying the other male from falling, Dante pulled them close to his bosom, hugging them for a few seconds before pulling back his eyes locked onto sad and teary ones.

Looking at Levi's vulnerable state, Dante felt a sense of helplessness wash over him. Looking into the eyes of the other, Dante lowered his lips and devoured Levi's soft trembling lips. Once his lips made contact, Dante pulled Levi closer to him as he continued to explore the very being that made all his reasoning fly out the door.

"You are really really going to be the death of me," said Dante 

"I can assure you that it was never my intention", answered Levi, trying to recover from the kiss.

"What am I going to do with you?"

Looking at Dante, Levi could see how tired, and restless the other male was when was the last time the man had a good night's sleep? Lifting his hand, Levi touches the side of Dante's face.

"When was the last time you slept? Look at these dark circles around your eyes."

Leaning into the touch, Dante grabbed the hand on his face and kissed Levi once more on the lips.

"I need you right now; you have no idea how much I was holding back these last couple of days everything I did always reminded me of you. Please, Levi, I need you."

"Well, if what you desire is standing in front of you. Then what are you waiting for?"

That was the only invitation Dante needed as he attacked Levi's lips once more while his hand ripped the clothes off the other male's body before pushing them towards the bed. 

Waking up, Levi adjusted to his surroundings when his eyes landed on Dante's sleeping face. 

"If only you are peaceful, like when you are asleep, then I wouldn't mind being around you 24/7", whispered Levi, moving to get out of bed.

Pulling the blanket off him, Levi moved over Dante's huge body. Once his feet touched the ground, he turned his body to look at Dante again. Bending down, he lowered his head close to Dante's face inspecting the others' handsome features, from his chiselled jawline, high cheekbones, and straight nose to his thin lips.

Once Levi had enough of staring at Dante's handsome face, he turned around to get ready when he was suddenly grabbed from behind, making him fall on top of Dante's naked torso.

"If you think I would let you leave like this, then you are mistaken."

"You were awake."

"Mhm, for a while now."

"Then that means you heard what I had said earlier." gasped Levi

"Mhm, every word."

"Dante you... oh my goodness," said Levi trying to cover his face with both hands.

"Hey, don't cover your face. I spent sleepless night thinking about it," said Dante removing Levi's hands.

After rolling in bed, Levi and Dante finally got out of bed, with Dante heading towards the bathroom and Levi preparing a light breakfast for them. Since their lessons didn't start until ten o'clock, Levi took his time cooking the food.

Dante walked out of the bathroom feeling refreshed and hungry. Seeing Levi seated at their small table, he walked towards him and sat down.

"What are you doing."

"I'm messaging my boss. I'm letting him know that school has started again and for him not to roster me on."

"Did you work during the school break?"

"Yes, I did. Here try this; my mum made it for me before I left; she said it could be stored in the freezer for weeks; it will be handy when I don't have time to go grocery shopping to buy fresh ingredients," said Levi lifting his spoon towards Dante's mouth.

"Wow, your mum made this." 

"Yeah, why you've never had your mum's cooking before."

"No, my parents always travel for work. I only see them a few times a year."

"Oh, I'm sorry it must get lonely for you. How about you come with me next time to my house? My family already know about us."

"Your parents know about us."

"Just my mum and sister. My dad passed away two years ago."

"Oh, baby, I'm sorry to hear that."

"It's no problem. I have already spent two years mourning him. He is why I want to get into medicine; my biggest goal is to become someone who can make a difference in medicine or become a doctor and give free medical attention to those less fortunate."

"You'll make a great doctor one day," said Dante.

Thirty minutes later, Dante and Levi walked into their lecture room; holding Levi's hand, Dante led him to their usual spot beside the windows. The two people were talking when a figure stood before them, interrupting them.

"Lester, is everything alright?"

"Dante, what's up, man? Last night was lit. I had so much fun anyway. I wanted to know how you got back last night. Who did you leave with."

Before Dante could reply, another figure walked toward them without taking their eyes off their phone; they walked and stood beside Lester putting their arms through his before speaking.

"Lester, baby, let's go and find something to eat." 

"In a minute, Violet, let me talk to Dante first." 

At the mention of that name, Violet instantly turned her head and saw Dante, feeling horrified.

"Why don't you ask Violet here who it was that left with me? She was a great help in helping me into my dorm. If my boyfriend hadn't been there, she would have already had her way with me." said Dante.

Lester turned from Dante to Levi. Finally, his eyes rested on the person he thought was his life's love.

"Lester, don't listen to him. It's not true."

"Believe what you want, Lester, but when have I ever lied or betrayed you? Last night I was getting ready to leave but was stopped by Violet. You can not see the person she was, so I took the initiative to show you her true colours." said Dante.

Stunned, Lester looked at Violet with hate and disgust before he turned to leave, disappearing through the doors with Violet hot on his heels.
