After recovering from their laugh, both Levi and Dante continue to the destination; they walk in silence for a few minutes before Levi speaks.

"Dante, give me my bag so that you can go to class as well."

"It's fine", replied Dante dully, walking forward. After a few steps, he stopped sensing the other person still looking at him with a worried expression.

Dante stopped moving, letting out a sigh, making the other male mirror his actions. Turning to face Levi, Dante opens his mouth to speak once more.

"I'm not going; I don't feel like attending today's lesson."

A long paused pass before Levi replied

"OK, if that is what you want, I guess missing one or two will hurt anyone; what will you do in the meantime?"

"I don't know; maybe I'll find somewhere quiet to sleep while waiting for you", replied Dante.

Hearing Dante's cheeky reply Levi did not bother to answer. Instead, he turns his body away from him and continues walking forward. Dante looked on as Levi walked further and further away from him. It wasn't until Levi was a reasonable distance did he broke free from his anxious mind.

Jogging to catch up, Dante, feeling brave, slipped his large hands into Levi's much smaller ones. Afraid of being told off, he looked the way, slightly smiling at his accomplishment.

The two continued holding hands until they reached the entrance of a building where Levi would take his first lesson.

Entering his classroom, Levi took his usual seat beside the window, glancing out into the forest. As he was waiting for the professor and other students to arrive, Levi let his mind wander to the first time he met Dante in this particular classroom and seats.

He had been doing precisely what he had been doing now when the other male invaded his space, demanding his attention repeatedly. The ordeal brought a smile to Levi's mouth as he reminisced about the last couple of weeks.

The more Levi thought about Dante, the more it dawned on him.

He is slowly falling in love with the other male. Or better yet, he had already fallen in love with Dante.

This new revelation made Levi's heart beat fast, wanting to see the other person as soon as possible.

As soon as the professor announced the end of the lesson, Levi quickly packed his bag and headed out the door before anyone else could get their things together. Running down the hallway, Levi looked left and right up and down to see if he could spot the person he was looking for.

While walking around, Levi cursed at himself for not exchanging numbers with Dante or giving the male his contact details. As he was about to give up, Levi rounded a corner deciding to exit the building altogether and return to his dorm.

As he neared the corner, he could hear voices speaking from around the bend; Levi turned his feet to leave when a familiar voice caught his attention.

"How many times have I told you I'm not interested."

"How can you be this cruel? We were so good together, Dante; remember how you used to love me and protect me from anyone who would get close to me." replied a cute melodic voice.

Levi listened, his heart pounding loudly in his chest, afraid of being caught but curious at who the woman was that had captured Dante's attention. Levi silently moves forward and turns his head around the corner, trying to see the two people in front of him.

As he turned, the view of Dante entered his peripheral vision.

Dante leaned his whole body on the window sill while carrying a cigarette in his right hand. Standing in front of him was a woman who had their back to Levi, making it hard for him to see what the woman looked like.

Being unsuccessful, Levi turned his head back around but was stopped by the woman's actions. She leaned her whole body towards Dante, gently planting a soft kiss on his lips. Levi watched as Dante made no move in pushing her away or showing no signs of moving from his spot to avoid the kiss.

Levi quickly covered his mouth and turned away, letting out a loud gasp, but he was a second too late as the two people below him had already discovered his presence. Dante shot out from his spot near the window, pushing the woman away in an attempt to reach Levi.

A second was all it took for him to reach Levi, his long legs giving him the advantage he needed to bring the other male in his embrace. Spinning them both around the corner, Dante's large frame leaned against the white wall while holding an emotional Levi in his chest away from the eyes of curious passerby.

Feeling his heartbreak, Levi struggled to get out of Dante's stronghold, wanting to get as far away from this man as possible; just when he was ready to open his heart, it had been crushed by the very person he wanted to give it to.

His fragile heart had been broken before it could be used. This was one of the main reasons he never interacted with anyone. He kept to himself because he knew that the more you long for them or show them your weakness, they will use it to hurt you and cut you into a million pieces.

"Let go; I don't want to talk to you."

"Listen to me first, please; it's not what you think."

"Don't say more; the more you speak and try to make yourself innocent, the more I will be upset."

"OK, I will say no more. I don't want you to misunderstand my feelings for you."

Tilting his head back, Levi looked into the eyes of the man in front of him; seeing the pain, Levi wanted to cave in and let the incident pass and forget what had just transpired, but another part of him needed to be away from this man as soon as possible.

Pushing himself away from Dante, Levi ran the opposite way he had come from, not looking back, trying to put as much distance as possible between them. Levi was so engrossed in getting away that he failed to see Dante's pain, anguish, and sorrow, who slowly lowered himself to the ground clutching his chest.
