"Dante, you shouldn't say those things openly like that," said Levi looking towards the door where Lester and Violet had just left.

"What I said is the truth. Lester needs to know the truth before getting tangled even more with her.

Turning to Levi, Dante continues to speak.

"Why are you sympathising with her? Have you also fallen for her charms?"

"She is a woman who is both prideful and beautiful. Her charms are the only thing keeping her afloat in our current society." Answered Levi looking into Dante's cold, fierce eyes.

Looking deep into Dante's eyes, Levi wondered about a dangerous thought coming to his mind, something that Levi himself had asked what the other man's true purpose was; compared to looks and status, Levi was just an average guy with an average life and minimal social skills.

Only a few people in his life made him feel comfortable, his family at home and the orphanage where he volunteered. In the past, if he ever met a person like Dante, he would walk past with his head down, never interacting. A glance would be the only thing he would do before hurrying on his way.

So why out of millions of people, Levi has met and avoided Dante was the only person that had held his attention? Arousing a foreign feeling slowly rising deep within himself, a sense of being found and wanting to be seen.

But no matter how happy Levi whats to be right now, there is still another suspicious thought circling Levi's mind. Who is this god-like male? What connections does he have in society, what is his social background, and how dangerous is this man?

All these questions, but none can be answered.

Sighing, Levi looked away from Dante as the professor walked into the classroom, ready to begin the lesson. The more Levi thought about his predicament, the more he realised that he was now in deep waters, falling for the other man's charm. A charm that has made him irrevocably fall in love with the Alpha male.

A love that might only be one-sided.

After a torturous two-hour lecture, Levi could finally relax and stretch his body. Today's class touched on the subject that Levi immersed himself in, listening deeply to the professor's words. Since his father's passing, Levi has taken an interest in medicine.

Since a young age, Levi was always told how medicine could cure oneself when they were sick and that the blood of an Alpha played a big part in a person's recovery if one was mated to one.

The fascination of an Alpha blood mixing with medicine and curing them could be the answer to most of today's problems, a problem that Levi is determined to have an answer to. A solution that could very well be the answer to most of man-kinds diseases.

But as much as he wanted to give one hundred per cent of his attention to the lecture, Levi was still unable to focus. The culprit behind his dilemma is his deskmate, whose eyes lingered on his face longer than he should, making him flustered and nervous.

After stretching out his arms and leg, Levi turned to grab his bag while putting his notebook and pen in before finally turning his attention to the person beside him, only to move his body backwards, nearly falling off the chair in the process.

"What's wrong?"

"N-Nothing is just your face was so close that it startled me", answered Levi quietly.

"Should we hurry back then so you could get used to this face and not be started like that again?" Answered Dante with a light chuckle.

Levi's big doe-like eyes opened even wider at Dante's hidden meaning. Pushing himself upright, Levi got up from his seat and walked to the door, only to have Dante follow closely behind, chuckling now and then at his own comment.

Exiting the building, Levi hovered around the exit waiting for Dante, who had been swarmed by his friends earlier as they were heading out of the lecture room, making the distance between him and Levi widen slowly, being lost within the sea of people.

Standing outside with his head down near the exit doors, Levi hoped no one would pay him any attention as he stood in broad daylight waiting for Dante.

A few minutes had passed as Levi oddly found himself staring at the ground, mesmerised by the tiny ants following one another, forming a pattern. As Levi was watching the ants doing their work, a frown appeared on his face, wondering why it suddenly got dark. It wasn't until someone called out his name that his eyes left the ground, and he looked into Dylan's sad and concerned eyes.

Since the day of his heat, Levi had never really spoken nor thanked Dylan. It wasn't that Levi didn't want to thank the other man; it was because neither of them was given a chance to say much to one other the last time they spoke.

"Dylan, how are you? I was going to come to pass later to our dorm and.."

Levi was pulled into Dylan's embrace so fast that the words were stuck in his throat at what was happening.

"Dylan, what are you doing? Let me go."

"Just let me, let me hold you for a minute; that is all I'm asking for."

Hearing the other person's plea, Levi did not push them away but stood still with his arms by his side, waiting for the other male to calm down.

A whole minute passed before Dylan realised Levi and looked at the smaller male smiling before speaking.

"Are you finished with your lectures? should we go and grab something to eat together?"

"Dylan, I.."

"Ahh come on, let's go; I'm starving," said Dylan dragging Levi behind, refusing to listen to the other person's excuse.

Levi, who was being dragged behind, was still processing to understand what had just happened. Was it his imagination, or did he see another side to Dylan that he had never seen before since meeting the other person.
