Lowering his head, Levi wanted to avoid any confrontation he knew would happen between him and Dante. Levi walked behind Carter. When they walked past Dante, his hands were grabbed, and he was violently dragged out of the restaurant.

Carter, who had been walking in front, was forced to move to the side when a figure pushed themselves forward, dragging an unwilling Levi behind.

"Carter, wait for me. I'll be right back," said Levi as he was hurled away by Dante.

Levi tried his best to keep up with Dante without tripping or falling with both of his hands occupied. Levi could not find the chance to stop himself from being dragged around.

"Dante, please wait; where are you taking me? I need to get back to my..."

Levi did not get to finish his sentence when he was roughly pushed against a wall. Once his back hit the wall, Levi made a whimpering sound and looked at Dante's cold, fierce eyes.

Dante looked at Levi, and Levi looked at Dante. A whole minute passed when Levi lowered his head to pick up his bags that had dropped earlier from the push. Without saying a word, Levi made a move to leave but was grabbed once by the arm.

"Where are you going? Are you not happy to see me?" asked Dante.

"I am always happy to see you, Dante." Smiled Levi

"Your actions right now are saying you don't want to see me," said Dante turning his head to look at Levi.

"Dante, please, I need to get back. We can talk later."

Hearing those words, Dante again pushed Levi against the wall caging him in.

"You are not going anywhere."

"What is the matter with you? Why are you acting this way."

"Yes, the fault is all mine. Why did I think you were different."

"What are you talking about?"

"What is it that your after, wealth, power, or social status? Do you use your Omega appearance to lure men in then..."

SLAP

"Listen to me, Dante. I don't know what is wrong with you. But have you forgotten that you were the one who came into my life, the one that would not leave me alone. You are the one that invaded my life, never giving me a moment of peace. " said Levi pushing Dante out of his way so he could leave.

Dante, who had never been slapped before until this day, quickly moved to grab Levi by the arm once more and pushed him up against the wall.

"I told you that you're not going anywhere," said Dante punching the wall inches away from Levi's face.

Feeling scared at Dante's action Levi stood petrified, afraid to move. It wasn't until a voice called out to him from the entrance of the alleyway did he turn his head to see Carter standing on the footpath.

"Levi, is everything alright," Asked Carter, who struggled to follow Levi once he realised that the other male was being dragged away.

"Carter, everything is alright," answered Levi moving from his spot. He quickly grabbed his things and hurried out of the alleyway pulling a confused Carter away, who followed but not before glancing at the figure standing in the alleyway.

Dante glanced at the retreating figures and stood still for a few more seconds before he withdrew his hands away from the wall, only to repeatedly punch the same spot over and over again. After a few punches, he finally calmed down and exited the alleyway towards his car. Not once did he look at his hand that was bleeding.

After dropping Carter off at the orphanage, Levi made his way home sitting on the bus. He pulled out his phone and dialled a number, not knowing if the other party would pick up or not. Putting the phone to his ear, the call went straight to voicemail. Levi had no choice but to put his phone back in his pocket. With a sigh, he stretched out his leg and closed his eyes.

"Mum, I'm home", shouted Levi from the doorway

"I'm in here", answered Amelia from the kitchen

"What's for dinner," asked Levi walking up to his mum and kissing her

"Mum, don't make too much for dinner. I'm not very hungry. I ate a lot when I was out with Carter today."

"How is that boy."

"Good, he's good."

"Oh, before I forget, your work called and asked if you could do a shift tomorrow evening. I wrote down the number. I told them you will call them back once you've returned home."

Walking to the fridge, Levi looked at his phone number written on the shopping list paper and ripped it out before heading back to his room.

"Thanks, mum. I'm going to call them now."

Leaving the kitchen, Levi picked up the shopping bag he had dropped by the door and headed toward his room. His mind wandered back to Dante and how the man knew where he was and his actions today in the alleyway.
