Chapter 27

By the time Mia arrived in the dining room, everyone was already seated, along with Eric, who introduced himself as Mia's boyfriend; Levi was in the middle of listening to him take about how he and Mia had met when she seated herself next to her boyfriend.

"I heard my name; what are you talking about"

"Mia, I was telling you, brother, how I had met you and our little misunderstanding at that time." Said Eric pulling Mia close before giving her a peck on the cheeks,

Mia quickly glanced at Dante before averting her eyes back at Eric and smiling at his words.

"Mia, how could you be so mean to your boss," asked Levi.

"Well, at the time, I didn't know he was my boss. I thought he was another law student trying to steal my spotlight."

"Well, I hope everyone is hungry; I made lamp chops marinate in dried herbs garden salad, stir fry garlic and greens beans and mash potatoes."

"Mama, your cooking is the best."

"Dante, sweety Im not sure if you have any food allergies, but I hope this is alright."

"This is the most delicious food I've seen my whole life. Thank you, Amelia. I will enjoy it."

Just as everyone was ready to eat, Eric spoke, making everyone look in his direction using a fork to lightly tap his whine glass as if the room was filled with tons of people, not just the five of them. Standing up, Eric pushed his chair back and looked towards Mia.

"Mia, meeting you have been one of life's greatest gifts. You are the light in my world, the laughter in my happiness, and the reason for my existence. Would you do me the honour of becoming my wife." proposed Eric pulling out a red box from his pocket and opening the lid to reveal an oval shape diamond ring.

"Eric, I can't believe this, yes", answered Mia.

Eric looked up at Mia, displaying a huge smile on his handsome, chiselled face. He took the ring from the box and placed it on Mia's ring finger before embracing the other.

"Woohoo, congratulation Mia and Eric."

"Congratulations Eric"

"Congratulations to the both of you; your father would have been too proud of you, honey." Amelia got up from her chair and hugged her daughter and new son-in-law.

"Thank you, Mum."

After dinner Levi showered and crawled into his bed he picked up his bag where he left it earlier and took out his notes and started to read them as he was waiting for Dante to wash up. Not long after he had read a few lines of his notes the bathroom door opened. Levi lifted his head up from his note and looked at Dante who was dress in a blue basketball pyjamas set.

"I've never seen you wear pyjamas before, i didn't even know you own any."

"I usually don't wear them but I thought that since I'm staying here for a few nights I'd thought it would be ideal since you mum is just down the hall from us. i don't want her thinking Im a uncivilized beast or something along that line."

"But you are a beast. A beast that has no respect for boundaries whatsoever. A beast that likes to devour anything in their sight."

Dante looked towards the bed and knew that Levi was pushing his buttons if he did not know Levi he would have thought that the man meant every word that he said and is just asking to be devoured. Climbing into bed Dante bit Levi's shoulders while inhaling his unique scent.

"Ouch, what was that for"

"That is for teasing me"

"Tease you I would never."

"You just wait until we get back to the dorms; I will make you pay for every time you tease me." threatened Dante as he tickled Levi, making him put his book down, trying to defend his small waist from being exposed to the beast hands after moving around for some times Levi found himself lying beneath Dante, looking up Levi placed his slim arms around Dante's neck before the other dropped their head down and  fiercely kissed them on the lips.

After the kiss Dante rolled over to the other side of the bed beofre saying.

"Let's sleep we had a long day, you must be tired."

"A little bit" answered Levi who needed a moment to calm his racing heart. Once his breathing was back to normal Levi rolled over and back hugged Dante before asking.

"Dante what do you think of my family."

Levi waited for a reponsed from the other perosn but silent was the only thing that came between them. Thinking that maybe Dante was to tired to answer Levi turned the other way, just as he head was filled with other thoughts muscular arms hugged him from behind.

"Your family is the most loving and sincere family that I've known Eric is lucky to become a part of your family so soon after only meeting your sister."

Hearing Dante speak Levi turned his body around once more facing Dante. He looked at Dante eyes for a few seconds before speaking.

"What kind of family have you met that made you think my family is the most loving family out there?"

"Where I come from trust me when I say your family is sincere, I've seen family tore each other apart mothers abandoning their children to follow their own dreams and fathers who are always away on buiness trip that they leave their child at the care of nannys and house maid not knowing when they will see their children again."

"It's alright those kind of  stories and families only exsit in the rich and powerful Alpha family, the kind that looks down on the poor. Those are the kind of family I dispise also, they do not care about the need of other people if they have money they can basiccally do anything. Dante tomorrow shall we go to the orpghange?"

"The orphanage?"

"Yes the orphange there is one that is just fifteen minutes from here if you go my car but it take me thirty to forty minutes to get  there because I need to take the bus." As soon as Levi said those words a big yawn escaped his mouth making Dante chuckled a little beofre saying.

"You get some sleep first we will discussed this more in the morning."

"Mm okay, see you in the morning."

Dante pulled the blankets up and tugged Levi in. Before he laid back down, his mind wandered to his own family; his parents came into mind, the kind of parents he did not know growing up. After a few tosses and turn, Dante finally dose off  as a  warm body snuggled right next to him making him sleep soundlessy through the night with a content smile on his face.
