Chapter 31: LauLy

I was scrolling over my Facebook account when suddenly, I heard noise downstairs.

"Baka may bisita na naman sila Mommy." I told myself.

Nawalan na ako ng balita sa kanya. Ha, almost 2 years ago na rin yun nung iwan ko siya. I promised not to leave her pero yun lang yung way para maabot ko yung dreams ko. And sadly, hindi ko pa siya naabot. Pa-extra extra lang ako sa modeling. Never pa ako naging front page ng isang magazine. Soon, basta soon, maabot ko yun. I'm gonna work hard para maabot ko yung mga pangarap ko. I didn't leave Alyssa for nothing.

Kung hindi dahil sa kanya, our business would be a damn trash now. She talked to her dad para pumayag na mag-invest sa amin and gladly, pumayag ito. Forever thankful ako sa kanya because of that. Pero kailangan ko talaga siyang iwan. We just can't be together.

I heard a knock on the door. Normally, they don't and won't disturb me.

"Laura, someone wants to see you." My mom said. I wasn't expecting anyone today. Rest day ko ngayon from a tightly scheduled week. All I need is some rest.

"Tell him or her na I want to get some sleep!" I shouted. Galit ako kay mom. Isa siya sa naglayo sa akin kay Ly. I love Ly. I love her so much. It's so sad na wala na akong communication sa kanya. Wala naman siya social media accounts. Yes, I tried searching for her. Basta alam ko, dun pa din siya sa dati kong school which is Specter Academy. I remembered kung gaano siya kapayat at kaliit nun. Hahaha.

I was staring at my laptop trying to search for her name again and found a fan page named Alyssa Valdez. I clicked it and found some pictures there and updates about her whereabouts.

Ang laki ng pinagbago niya! It think she became taller at medyo naging broad na rin ang shoulders niya. Siguro dahil she pursued her basketball career. I was there when she was shy to go to the try-outs kasi ang liit niya talaga noon. Kung siguro hindi ko siya pinush noon malamang patpatin pa rin ito ngayon.

I saw a pic where she was trying to wipe her sweaty face with her jersey. And damn! Those abs! May abs na pala siya! Dapat matagal ko na itong sinearch!

I looked at the page's info pero kakagawa lang pala nito 3 months ago. Huli kong search ay 5 months ago pa.

I think this is not a fan page. Stalker page ata 'to dahil parang everyday may update at sa iba't ibang lugar pa.

There's another pic where she was walking and some girl was clinging on her. Nakatalikod sila. Obviously, hindi ito si Trisha, Alyssa's bestfriend. Maliit ang babae at maputi.

I tried looking for other pictures when someone opened the door. I just ignored it. It's either maglalagay sila ng food or maglilinis ng kwarto ko. I don't care.

"Stalking me, huh?" Someone said. A familiar voice. Me? Me? Me? That can't be!

I turned around and saw that face who captured my heart. The one who helped me start my dreams. Si Alyssa, proudly grinning.

I immediately slammed my laptop. My cheeks are blushing hard.

"Laura Lehmann." She said amusingly.

"Alyssa?! What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Somebody wished for my presence, so here I am, granting someone's wish." She said and then bowed.

I don't understand a thing. The last time I tried talking to her, all she did was turn me down. She was so mad at me. She even said not to show my face again.

"What? Seriously, why?" I asked. I know she's up to something.

"Ba't parang takot na takot ka? Won't you welcome me here first?" She said. Still smiling.
