It was early and Andy had barely gotten any sleep. The thoughts of the troubles a quirkless hero filled his head like water did in a jar. It filled every seam of his body with nervousness.

Andy got up and immediately picked up the new blasters. He ran out the front door as fast as he could before considering something else. The two teachers that work there already know he has something to do with Zero. He could easily use his boots and no one would think twice about it.

He walked back inside to grab the boots before quickly making his way down the stairs. The sun had just barely started waking up, and the air started to get warm again. Although it was only April it was quite warm out that day.

He made his way to the cafe while still having a jitter in his step. As he kept walking he questioned his decision more. 'How could I be a quirkless hero? I mean the backlash would be horrible... Who would even take me seriously. And if I die somehow one day it'll be over for all quirkless people.'

The questions played in his head like a broken record. The excitement in his step died down with every sentence. He'll be useless in almost everything but small villains.

"ANDY!? WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?" Nena called out to him. "YOU HAVE TO GO TO THE EXAM!"

"I ugh- im going to eh- work" he looked at her nervously.

"WORK? You want to be a hero, so go be a hero mister!" She pushed him back out the back door.

"But, i'm not sure anymore about being a hero..." he let her push him out the door

"Not a hero? You worked so hard! Why such a change?" She stopped for a second with concern.

"Cause what if I die? Then everyone will hate the unfortunate more" He slid past her into the door. Nena froze as her face scrunched up more.

"ANDY I TOLD YOU TO STOP LISTENING TO YOUR MOTHER WHEN IT COMES TO YOUR DREAMS! GO BE A HERO, KID! YOU MORE THAN DESERVE IT! NOW!" She demanded playfully at him and stamped her foot on the ground. Andy flinched in fear as he realized how mad she was.

"I uh- im- im sorry" he recoiled and began walking out the door.

"Andy... you need to realize you're going to achieve more than what your mom sees. You're going to be so amazing" she squeezes his cheeks into his teeth with her hands.

"Oh hold up, I need to get you something" she walks around the corner leaving Andy by the open back door. She comes back around with a paper bag in her hand. "I knew you forgot to eat something. I can see it on you"

"Thank you Nena." He grabbed the bag and looked inside to see a buttered roll and 2 doughnuts. "Woah, two doughnuts?"

"YEAH I MADE WAY TO MANY DOUGHNUTS LAST NIGHT!" Nejire popped out from behind the corner with her hands waving.

"Way too many..." Nena chuckled to herself and Andy joined in.

"GOOD LUCK ANDY! I WISH TO SEE YOU IN SCHOOL!" She shouted around the corner again.

"Thank you" He replied back.

"NOW GO! You don't have to be here" she pushed him out the door before closing it so he couldn't enter again.

"Oh.... ok" he stood there looking at the door before taking off his fake horns and placing them in his pocket.

He made his way, this time a little faster than before. The school wasn't far from U.A, hence the constant heroes and students coming in. As he entered the gate another student was also quite early like he was. There asbt really anyone there yet other than a couple other kids.

The kid was quite tall, but not as tall as Andy. He had slick black hair and a pair of glasses on. He looked nice but Andy didn't want to talk to anyone at the moment.

He walked in and was ushered into an auditorium before he was caught by one of the heroes.

"Hey, Andy! Is that you?" A familiar voice calls out. Andy turns around only to be met with Midnight herself in costume.

"Uh hi Mrs. Midnight. It's nice to see you again" His eyes grew as he realized exactly what was going on. She was going to stop him from going to the school.

"Wow, i didn't expect you to come to be a hero! I hope you get in"

"Thank you" he shyly replied back with hesitation in his voice.

"Don't worry, your work is a secret with me kid" she giggled giving him a pamphlet while directing him where to go. Andy thanked her before walking to where he was guided. He was directed to a simple sign in area. He had to show his new blasters to get verified before he was allowed inside completely.

A big auditorium laid there as Andy picked a seat relatively far back but up enough to clearly see what was going on.

Andy pulled out the bag Nena had given him and started carefully eating the bagel he was given, making sure not a single crumb fell on the floor. Eventually more people came in as more people spoke closer and closer to him.

"Hey, I really like your hair! It looks so pretty" A pink girl from behind leaned forward to talk to him. Andy snapped out of his bagel filled confusion as he looked back.

"Oh uh, thank you. I like your hair too. Pink is one of my favorite colors" Andy tensed up at the sudden and unprepared interaction.

"Thank you! Hey what's your name, I think we could be good friends" She hopped over the seat to talk to him better.

"Uh- im uhm- my name is Andromeda but you can call me Andy" He looked inside the bag to see one of the two doughnuts he was given "do you want a doughnut?"

"Yeah sure! I love doughnuts. My name is Mina" Mina smiled as he took out a vanilla doughnut and handed it to her. "Andromeda is such a cool name. Can I ask what your quirk is?"

Andy hesitated for a second, looking down at the blasters then back up at her. She seemed nice so he doesn't think she'll be too mad about the quirkless thing. "Im uh- i kinda don't have a quirk."

"What?! What's so cool! Now I really wish you would get in" Mina took a bite of her doughnut as Andy practically melted and giggled inside at the fact she was so nice.

"I hope you're in my class then" He smiled before looking back up at the nice girl.

"Heck yeah! I can't wait for school to start" she took another bite of the doughnut before her eyes lightened up. "Wow, where did you-"

She was cut off by the lights turning off and a teacher walking on stage.
