HEY! WEBEK HERE!

So ummm… I'm making sure the next chapter is super impactful and I really show it through the writing and not implied. Here's a small filler chapter with a blast to the past, some art ive don't of the characters, and facts on the characters in the meantime! Sorry for the delay that I keep bringing you lovely readers but I want this to be a good chapter. Also this is a bit of a long chapter because it's sorta just for funzies and a break.

PS, this new character is important to the story and this moment will be referenced in the future, but isn't really important to the lore right now.

Update, my tablet broke and wont respond so i cant give any art... atleast ik what the characters look like so i can redraw them. :)

___________

Andy raced down the street with Shinso in tow as a villain chased them down the streets. It was known as a small crime rate area and Andy didn't bring his vigilante gear. It would be a bad idea if he brought the vigilante gear everywhere he went. His arm was also still broken and had little grip to them, so even if he would fight the woman off, it wouldn't end in him competing in the sports festival. It was only their second time hanging outside of school and they're already getting into hero trouble. Someone tried mugging them, but instead Andy thought it would be better to run instead since she only had a knife.

Both of them raced down the streets of the half dead city, trying to get the woman off of their backs. They were going to the train station to say goodbye and go home since it was late in the day. The sun hadn't set yet, but it was just hovering over the horizon.

“DON'T YOU HAVE YOUR GEAR?” Shinso shouted as they weaved inside an alleyway, already half tired from the running.

“MY ARMS BROKEN! You think i wanted to get into more trouble after USJ?” Andy was slightly ahead, dragging Shinso slightly behind by the arm and making sure he didn't fall back. Andy wasn't much faster than Shinso outside of the boots, but he still held on, making sure he didn't leave his friend behind.

Andy directed Shinso into more random streets and alleyways, praying a hero was somewhere nearby to stop the thrift behind them. Why was she chasing them this far? She doesn't seem to be getting tired yet and keeps getting closer while the duo keeps getting slower as they lose energy and breath.

“SHE'S NOT SLOWING DOWN ANDY!” Shinso turned back to get a look, letting Andy make sure a wall or tripping hazard was in the way. He turned back to see his friend not responding, instead to himself and not quite saying anything yet. You can almost hear the gears and cogs turn while the micro wires that make up his brain.

“CAN YOU THROW A PUNCH?” Andy’s question caught him off guard. Was he really preparing to fight? It makes sense but is he really willing to sacrifice his chance of fighting in the festival and getting into the hero course over a few bucks that they had?

“YEAH! SORT OF” He shouted back, as Andy began to slow down in one of the alleyways. It was a good chance to quickly catch his breath for a second, but it wouldn't last long as they were about to attack a crazy woman with a knife.

“Don't get stabbed!” He grinded his feet to a halt and turned on his heels quickly to fight the villain. He undid his sling, letting his arm loose so it wouldn't get caught up in something. Granted, it wasn't still broken, but movement was still very much limited. Shinso immediately dropped his and Andy’s bag, which he insisted he would carry because he only has one arm. He knew Andy wouldn't be mad at his bag being a little scuffed since living was the biggest issue.

The villain smirked and started stalking closer to the two of them, knife in hand and preparing for an ‘easy fight’. She stood in the middle of the street, watching the kids for any sort of subtle movements. The villain charged at the two, not even noticing player four had entered the fight.
