The last of his project was already finnished, and the class wasnt even half way done. New tools made it so much easier to build the exact parts he needs, and without going through a used needle landfil was like a thousand weights off of his chest. It was an easy project as they only had to build a motor to charge a light bulb out of the given items.. A small wind up motor was enough to please Mr. Maijima. It was simple, yet effective, and enough to get passed. Nothing extravagent was expected for the first couple of days other than a bit of creativity. And he already has the knowledge on how to use trash to create machinery.
"Hey, Andy. Can you do me a favor while I help your classmates?" Mr.Maijima asked with a broken belt and a disk covered in foam.
"Yeah, sure. What do you need me to do?" Andy almost made a draddle out of himself with how fast he spun.
"Can you fix this student from 1-A's belt? They're about to go on a trip to USJ and I don't want the student to be left out because of their support gear" he kindly asked and raised the belt up to him.
"Is this also so I get forced into going with them?" Andy carefully picked up the belt and glass to place on his workshop area.
"Yeah, also that. Mr. Aizawa wants you to of course go with them. You should bring your gear just in case." He casually mentioned before walking off. It felt like every teacher wanted Andy to be in the hero course now.
"Of course," he muttered. He grabbed a screwdriver and started untwisting the small screws. He placed them carefully into a magnetic pan and unscrewed them all.
He sat there patiently as the frame slowly popped off the back. The glass was shattered in a way that the glass could never come out through the frame. He pulled it off and threw it into a personal garbage bin he had for dangerous waste. Andy opened the new glass that was taped shut so it wouldn't slide out. The glass fit in perfectly as he rewinded the process, screwing the frame back in and tightening it shut.
"Finished" Andy called out as he stood up with the belt in hand.
"Can you bring it to the student? They should be outside right now in the parking lot area" Mr.Maijima said as he shuffled around a student's drawer for a certian tool.
"Yeah sure" Andy strutted away happily.
"Hold up, don't forget your gear. You know Mr. Aizawa will make you go as well." He moved to another drawer and grabbed the tool his classmate needed and handed it to the student.
"Is there a way to avoid him?" Andy groaned as he went back for his gear.
"If you're fast and he doesn't see you, you might be able to make it back." Mr. Maijima turned his attention to Andy again, "But I doubt he'll let you get away."
Andy grumbled as he pulled a small box from under his desk. He unpacked the clothes and metallic gear. The gloves, sweatshirt, shoes and pants were first to go on. Then the gauntlets were pressed together to form one on Andy's arm and the mask was fitted to his face like he had done many times before.
He had changed up his gauntlets ever so slightly to now include a grapple cable mix. He wasn't sure how useful it may be, but it'll surely be good for something if he's going to USJ today. It can also be a weapon is he fires it closed since it closes to fit in his gauntlet.
"I'll hopefully be back in a minute. If not, I'll be kidnapped at USJ" Andy called out to Mr.Maijima before walking out of the class door.
"Doubt it'll be a minute" He said, running off to help another student who called his name.
Andy slowly paced down the halls, holding the belt in hand. He understands why the teachers want him in the hero course. I mean, it kind of obvious they know at this point, but how are they even allowed to let him take trips like this? Doesn't he need permission from his parents to do things like this? Or is it too much and is signed away when students become part of the herorics course? He's supposed to be in support, so why is it even a thing that he's allowed to join them? The legality of all of this is perplexing.
