I see Amelia's eyes are widening and she gasps softly. I smile at her and she steps closer. Actually, Jungkook was talking about meeting Amelia as he didn’t see her for the past four months straight. As Amelia is the Commissioner's daughter, her father doesn’t want anyone to doubt their relationship, he didn’t want anyone to lay a finger towards his daughter that he is giving his daughter facilities which other trainees are not getting.
And this is why Amelia didn’t even get any off days to return her home for spending some spare time with her family and friends whereas all the trainee here are getting three days off in every month. My Amelia is suffering so much but still she doesn’t talk about any difficulties.
She is strong.
"Hey!" I smile at her and cups my cheeks with her tiny hand.
"Tae-" she softly calls my name and throws her hands around me, hugs me tightly like her dear life. I wrap my hands around her waist, sniffing her head. "Thank you so much for coming-" she pops up her head from my chest and I plant a quick on her forehead. I hear Jungkook is clearing his throat loudly and Amelia quickly detaches her body from me.
"Oh Noona, we are here too. Give us some attention also, hun?" Jungkook whines and I tilt my head side to side. I chuckle loudly.
"Tae-" Amelia turns around and wraps her hands around my arm excitedly and I raise a brow.
"I got two days off, will you drive me to Ilsan? Please-" her lips become pouty and I chuckle. ''Mum was talking about her parental home in Ilsan, she was telling me that she is missing me so much so, I want to surprise her because she doesn’t know that I'm getting off days-" she says and I can sense the excitement in her voice.
"Alright, go and pack your stuff-" I ruffle her hair and she giggles softly. My gaze lowered down to her left hand, a canella attached to her knuckle. She was about to walk but I clutched her wrist quickly.
"What happened here?" I ask and my brow raises automatically. She softly smiles.
"I was getting dehydrated so, I needed to push some saline to my body, that's it. I'm fine now, don't worry-" she replies softly and I look at her from head to toe. She is biting her lower lip which means she is nervous and she is lying. I can understand when she is lying, she is avoiding my gaze continuously.
"Don't lie-" I clutch her shoulder blade and yanks her to me. I didn’t get any information today from Hyung-Sik so, I can't just believe in Amelia's words, she has become more calm than before, she doesn’t show her pain like before, she doesn’t show her anger like before so, I would not be surprised if she lied about her sickness.
