Amelia's Pov
My hands are almost trembling as I am sitting with the most powerful officers and stuff here. This is the very first meeting I am attending. I don't know if I am going to get this case or not but surely it's giving me some thrills.
"Alright, we have a big mission about catching a most dangerous and notorious gang called 'Bangtan Boys'. They have become phenomenal to the whole world as they are helping the helpless peoples while destroying the criminals in an illegal way, they are robbing the banks and giving the money to the ordinary peoples, they even related to illegal drug selling but still all the people around are not in our favor to help us to catch them-" my father continues and I hear everything carefully.
Why do people actually help the authorities when they are getting favors? Especially money, money is the second god, isn’t it? When the people are getting money then why are they going to help us? And they are not doing any bad work, I guess?
We live in a society where the authorities, whose work is to help us, the government whose work is to protect us, they are literally sucking our own blood and filling their damn pockets and make it heavy, where they should help us to get over from the poverty whereas they are literally pushing us to reach our limits on giving up and take a vital step like committing suicide. Is it fair?
Am I becoming too ironic? I shouldn't behave this way, right? I should concentrate on the speech to collect some important points but I am blabbering something stupid. My thoughts aren't gonna change the society so, it's a waste of time.
"They have 5 members in total, they are, RM, Suga, J-Hope, V and Jin-" my father takes the remote in his hand and begins to show their picture on the screen. They all are covering their faces with masks and the mask is oddly familiar to me. I must have seen this mask somewhere but I can't remember now.
"These are not their real names but we got know from our informers about their most usable names." he continued talking and I stared at the pictures of the criminals. Why do they feel so familiar to me and I don't know why.
"As they are robbing banks and even blackmailing the ministers to hand them the information about the gangsters who are roaming around the city without getting any punishment, they are doing their task to punish them and we already got 5 dead bodies in last week which is a massive loss to us-"
"How can this be a loss, Commissioner?" My blood was boiling in anger so I decided to ask a question. My father looks at me with a frown. I see all around the officers looking at me like I am some kind of animal. All of the officers are looking at me with their confused faces and I take a deep breath, I see my father is looking at me with a frown.
