Reader's Pov
"Miss Hanson, I'm ordering you to run on the track for two hours extra and stand in the west side of the central building, exactly facing the sun-" Captain Lee pauses and inhales deeply as Amelia's act is giving him much anxiety. He doesn’t want to punish Amelia but she often acts violent.
"This is the punishment for you fighting with Minjee, Helen and Yuri. Do you have any idea how they are now? You literally beat them and they are in CMH now-" he says out loud in frustration while Amelia is rolling her eyes ironically. She doesn’t regret fighting with them and sending them to the hospital as they wanted to knock Amelia down just because Captain Lee talked to Amelia last night for two minutes.
"Oh, they deserve it-" she scoffs out loud and Joon-gi's jaw clenches slightly.
"Miss Hanson, just because you got a great score in entrance exam and you are going to be an inspector very soon doesn’t mean you will beat them up and show your power of being daughter of the commissioner-" Joon-Gi stated and Amelia's patience went over.
"Excuse me, Captain-" Amelia finally faces Joon-Gi and directly looks into his eyes.
"I guess no one knows me better than you here, Captain. You know very well that no one even knows about my true identity of being the daughter of the commissioner except for the officers and sergeants here and nor did I behave badly with anyone. Have you ever thought about why Do I always fight with Minjee and her team? No, right?" she chuckles bitterly.
"Minjee and her team are always here to bully every trainee here and I can't just bear everything, Captain. I'm not an easy going girl who is going to see them suffer but not bite back. I'm sorry but if you want to suspend me then I'm totally okay with it-" she dismisses her conversation with Joon-Gi.
"And about punishment-" she was about to step forward but stopped in her tracks and turned around again. "I don't have any problem with the punishment, I'm used to it as you usually give me punishment while I do nothing wrong-" she didn’t give Joon-Gi any chance to talk and left the place immediately while cursing some words angrily.
Amelia is standing in the empty field behind the central building and it's already 2 pm and the sun is exactly facing her forehead. She is wiping her sweat again and again and trying to cope with the weather. As it's a full summer in South Korea, she is literally burning and her beat is increasing in an intense speed.
"Straight your posture-" Captain Lee commands and Amelia quickly straightens her posture and stands like a robot. Captain Lee is staring at Amelia with a huge sigh. No matter what, she is not going to accept the offer of asking for forgiveness to Minjee.
