CHAPTER 321

BLAKE'S POV:

"Hey, Avon!" mariing pagtawag ko sa pangalan ni Avon na tumatakas na naman mula sa'kin matapos n'yang lumabas sa meeting room.

"Fuck off, Granger! Leave me alone!" mariing sigaw n'ya habang binibilisan pa rin ang paglakad palayo sa'kin.

Muli akong bumuntong hininga.

Dahil sa stilletos n'yang suot ay hindi s'ya makatakbo nang husto. I don't know if she really couldn't run with her stilettos or she just don't wanna run away.

'But I really hate the sound of her stilletos now.'

I walked faster to get near her. When our distance finally narrowed, I quickly grabbed her arms and pulled her closer to me. Her eyes widen and her lips parted. I swallowed the lump of my throat to stop myself from thinking of kissing those lips again.

'I wanna feel her again.'

But she doesn't want me anymore. She fucking lose her interest at me.

She stops loving me.

And that thought, still lingers in my memory.

"What is wrong with you, Avon? You're losing your cool just because of a fucking job." I irritatedly asked and looked at her eyes. Trying to divert my attention from her seductive lips.

'I seriously wanna kill Akiro for kissing Avon's lips.'

I want him to pay for claiming what's mine.

"You don't need to care, Blake." Avon answered me angrily and tried to get her arms from my grip but I didn't let her go.

'I don't want to let her go.'

"I have to care, Avon." I said agitatedly and clenched my jaw out of annoyance. She raised her left eyebrow and looked at me with her furious eyes.

We're locked in a staring contest.

Those angry eyes that used to looked at me lovingly. Those sweet lips of her that used to tell me that she loves me is now throwing dirt on my name. Those feet of her that used to run towards me and these arms of her that used to hugged me tightly when she sees me has changed.

She changed drastically that I can't cope with the situation.

She made me fell in love with her. Letting me feel high and reach heaven but when we finally reached the top, she dropped me off and saved herself.

I was there. Falling alone. Like a bird who lost its wings and couldn't save itself from falling even if it knew that a rough surface is waiting for him.

She threw me away like I was a trash. She broke me into a million pieces.

But after all these fucking years, she's still the only woman I want to fix my broken self.

She sighed angrily and looked away. I guess she was disgusted with the look that I'm giving to her.

"Just let me do all the work and just be there when I needed your help." she said. Her tone suddenly changed. From agitated to calm.

"I'm always here, Avon. Even the times that you don't need me." I said without thinking twice. It's just that, my mouth suddenly talked without my permission.

My whole body suddenly froze when she looked into my eyes again. I felt my heart broken. Her stares sent shivers down to my spine. And the wall that I tried to built to protect myself from her, suddenly wrecked into pieces.

'That's how you hurt me, Avon.'

There's nothing in this world that can torture me, baby. But you came into my life just to ruin me after making me feel special.
