CHAPTER 319

WADE'S POV:

Nabigla ako't natigilan pa sa paglalakad nang makitang sinuntok ni Scarlette ang muka ni Noah. Sa lakas ng pagkakasuntok ni Scarlette ay tumimbawag ang boyfriend ni Lisheine at sumalampak sa sahig.

Galit s'yang bumaling kay Scarlette ngunit agad ding natauhan nang makitang mas galit sa kanya ang girlfriend ko. Bumangon si Noah habang inaalalayan s'ya ni Lisheine. Uulit pa sana si Scarlette nang awatin ko na s'ya.

'Tangna lang! Nandito si Percy tapos makikita pa nung bata yung pagiging bayolente nila?'

"Scar, calm down. Nakikita nung bata." bulong ko sa girlfriend ko nang magpumiglas pa s'ya.

Natauhan naman s'ya sa ginagawa at pilit na pinakalma ang sarili kahit na kumakawala pa rin ang galit. Ramdam ko ang matinding galit n'ya. Para bang gusto n'yang patayin ngayon si Noah.

'The rage in her eyes is the same rage that I saw when I met her younger self.'

The way Scarlette looks at Noah is scary as hell. It feels like she's not the same Scarlette who cooked my lunch earlier.

But I understand why she's acting like that. She loves Yvaine. She treats her like a younger sister who still needs protection and care.

And when Scarlette finds out that Noah left Yvaine alone, she immediately goes to Yvaine as if Yvaine is in a dangerous situation.

And she was right. Yvaine is really in a dangerous situation at that time. Yvaine just freaking picks a fight with an unknown gang to release her anger and sadness. Scarlette backs her up while me? I just stood there, doing nothing cause they don't need me in that goddamn fight.

When I watched how they went berserk and wrecked that place, I realized that I was surrounded by two evil monsters. They are merciless and heartless!

I don't even know why I fell in love with an evil monster and befriended the other evil monster.

'I don't know if I'm lucky or this is my karma.'

"Please don't fight in my house. I don't want my son to witness any violent actions." Yvaine pleaded with a serious tone. No, she's not asking us to stop fighting. She is warning us.

"Don't worry about me, mommy. Sanay na po ako." pakikisali ni Percy. Sabay-sabay kaming napatingin sa kanya. Gulat na gulat nang dahil sa narinig.

"What? Sanay? Pano?" gulat na tanong ni Yvaine. Hindi makapaniwala sa narinig.

Even me! I am Percy's father figure when Noah suddenly vanished in Yvaine's life. I watched how Percy grew up. We never let him watch anything that can cause a traumatic event in his life.

"Mommy, you and Tito Wade are always fighting behind my back so I already cope with the situation and this thing is nothing to me." sagot naman ni Percy na maayos ang upo sa sofa habang nakatingin sa aming apat.

'What. The. Hell.'

"Kayo naman pala 'tong laging nag-aaway eh." magkasabay na sagot ni Scarlette at Noah. Sinamaan ko silang dalawa ng tingin ngunit inirapan lang ni Scar si Noah at dumeretso sa sofa at doon naupo. Sumunod ako sa kanya at naupo sa tabi n'ya.

'Laki talaga ng galit n'ya kay Noah ano?'

Well, I understand her anyway. Pwede naman kasing magpaalam pero mas pinili pa ring umalis nang hindi man lang ipinapaalam dun sa iba.

Scar may have done the same thing before but Yvaine and I's situation are different. I pushed Scarlette away, that's why she couldn't explain herself before leaving me while Yvaine, on the other hand, is willing to let Noah go if Noah really needs to go.
