"Man!" James exclaimed frustrated as they all walked through the city, trying to find some place to eat. "I can't believe I have to wait until tomorrow to battle at the gym!"
"So that guy was being a total jerk to you guys?" Rex said, ignoring his whiner of a brother. "And James almost got beat up?"
"Did not!"
"Yeah, but then," Ronnie added. "Cassandra was all like 'You jerk!' and he was all like 'Please don't hurt me!' And Cassandra was all like-"
"That's not how it went," Cassandra interrupted him.
"Close enough."
"And you can call me Cassie."
"Hey look!" Rex and James said at the same time. "A pizza place!!!"
"Boys..." both girls mumbled.
"YEEEAAAHHH!" Ronnie screamed, and all three boys ran to the pizza place. "Follow us, girls!"
The girls followed them in, and they ordered 3 large pizzas.
"PIZZAAAA!!!" The three boys screamed with joy when the pizza arrived.
"This pizza is so good!"
"It's amazing!"
"I love it!"
"Boys..." the girls mumbled again.
When they were done eating, they decided to go to the Pokémon Center to go with Ronnie to check out his egg.
When...
As they walked through the plaza...
"Dude," Rex turned to Ronnie. "Your egg is glowing!"
"What?!" Ronnie looked down and saw that his egg was glowing indeed.
"I think it may be hatching!" Beverly said.
"Oh my god!" Cassandra said. "I've never witnessed the birth of a Pokémon!"
Ronnie put the egg case on the ground, and took the glass part of. He had a huge smile on his face and was excited to finally meet his new friend.
The egg kept flickering, and then it turned really bright, and they covered their eyes, except for Ronnie, who was squinting his eyes. When the light dissipated...
"Noibat?"
In the place of the egg stood a bat-looking Pokémon, looking directly at Ronnie.
"Noibat!" it said as it jumped to his chest.
"Wow!" Ronnie laughed. "You sure are friendly!"
"Awwwww!" a group of girls cooed as they watched. A crowd had formed as the baby Pokémon was born.
"We should go check it out at the Pokémon Center," James said. "To make sure he's fine."
"You're right!" Ronnie said as he got up holding his newborn Pokémon."
They walked toward the Pokémon Center, excited to have a new addition to their little group.
