The gang was at a nearby café waiting for Ronnie, (no surprise there).

"I have never slept so well in my life," Rex said. "Those beds were softer than a Mareep's wool."

"Tell me about it," said Cassandra.

"Why didn't you guys wake Ronnie?" asked Beverly. "You were all in the same room."

"That guy sleeps harder than a Snorlax!" James said. "We tried waking him. We called out his name, blasted music through the speakers, AND blasted an air horn right by his ears. No reaction, at all, whatsoever."

"I was wondering where all that noise was coming from," Cassandra said.

"We just gave up. It was a hopeless cause," Rex said shaking his head. Then he saw Ronnie running towards them with Noibat holding on to his bag for dear life. "There they come."

"Sorry I'm late guys!" he said as he stopped suddenly by their table, and pulled up a chair by their table. "I guess I didn't hear the alarm this morning."

"Or the air horn," grumbled James.

"What air horn?" asked Ronnie, slightly confused.

"Nevermind."

"Anyways, Martin and the others agreed to show us around Lumiose."

"But didn't you say you knew your way around?" asked Beverly.

"Well yeah," Ronnie said while grabbing some French Fries from James' plate.

"Heeey!" James protested.

"But I haven't seen them in a while, and I'm just too lazy. Also, I just might get us lost a couple times. I'm horrible with directions, no matter how many times I go through them."

"Makes sense," said James.

"What's that supposed to mean?!" Ronnie asked, suddenly defensive.

"Ronnie!"

They all turned to see a short girl with light blue jeans, black flats, black shirt, and a pink blazer speeding towards them. She had short brown hair, and jade green eyes, and behind her was Martin, and another kid they, except Ronnie, didn't recognize. This kid was wearing a black hoodie, black jeans, full black converse, and had slightly long black hair, and brown eyes.

Ronnie stood up, and the short girl slammed into him, hugging him tight. Surprisingly, Ronnie simply slid back a little, considering the speed and force of impact that short girl had.

"Hey Jade!" Ronnie chuckled, hugging the girl, apparently Jade. "Haven't seen you in a while. How ya doing?"

"I'm doing great and I finally have a Pokémon and I'm going on an adventure with big brother and Johnny and I've missed you and I'm so excited and your Pokémon looks really cool an-!"

"Ok, I think that's enough, Jade," Martin interrupted, trying to pry his little sister off Ronnie. "Give the guy some breathing space."

"Oh, fine," she pouted, not being able to hold on to Ronnie. He simply laughed.

"It's ok Martin," Ronnie said, then turned to the other guy. "Hey, bro, how's it going?"

Ronnie and the other guy, Johnny, hugged. "I'm doing good man. Just trying to hold on to my sanity with these two."

"I know what you mean," said Ronnie nodding his head. "These are my friends Rex, James, Beverly, and Cassandra. And these guys are Johnny, Jade, and Martin, whom you've already met."

"Nice to meet you!"

They all shook hands.

"Well," said Martin clapping his hands. "I guess we'll be your guides today, as Ronnie is completely incapable of remembering directions and whatnot."
