CHAPTER FIVE

Calypso POV

"Good morning Ma'am." Bati sakin ng mga iilang estudyante na nakakasalubong ko sa hallway. I'm on my way now to my next class. HIndi naman nag tagal ay nakarating narin ako sa loob bago pa 'man mag ring ang bell. "Good morning class." Sabay sabay naman silang tumayo at bumati pabalik. I just continue discussing the remaining lesson and pinag report ko narin ang mga naka-miss ng recitation last week. 

I was peacefully listening to the report when a sudden person crosses my mind. It was her again that womanizer! Hindi ko parin makalimutan 'yung nangyari sa bar ni Nathalie, good thing madali paki-usapan ang pinsan ko. I was the one who personally requested Juno. Yeah, for my personal gain. Well can't you blame me? naiirita ako sa babaeng kausap niya. 

I unconsciously rolled my eyes. "Ma'am is there any problem with our report?" One of the students in front of me asked. "No, please proceed." Fuck that kid! kailan ba matatahimik ang isip ko. Gusto ko lang naman ang peace of mind. I tried my best to maintain my focus. Nakinig lang ako ng taimtim sa mga reporters haggang sa matapos sila. Before I dismiss the class, I reminded them about the upcoming debate na magaganap next month. 

"Prepare for this coming debate next month, I hope that you'll all participate. Aasahan ko kayong lahat." I firmly said. "Kayang kaya na ni Vionne 'yan prof!" Sabat naman nung isang lalaki sa likod. He is basically referring to the pride of their block, which is Ms. Avionne Sy. "No, I am encouraging you all to join. Huwag niyo i-asa lahat kay Vionne. That's all goodbye." I said and bid my goodbye. 

Ibinababa ko na agad ang aking mga gamit sa aking office at diretsong pumunta sa music room. Ngayon na kasi ang meeting and I am the acting adviser for this year, dahil nasa maternal leave si Mrs. Castro na talagang adviser ng music club. "Neil, are they all present here?" Neil is the club president. Agad naman na nag start ang meeting, I guess ako nalang ang iniintay nila. 

They introduced themselves one by one. I was getting bored when suddenly I heard a very familiar voice. "Um.. I am Juno Aguirre, second year med student. And I can play different instrument like; guitar, piano, flute and a little bit of bass." How interesting. A smile formed on my lips after she finished introducing herself. Mukhang wala nang susunod kaya tumayo na agad ako. 

"Everyone, I am your adviser for this year because Mrs. Castro is currently in maternal leave. I'm Atty. Calypso Sanchez, a lawyer and a public corporation professor. Please address me as Ma'am Sanchez or Miss Sanchez. Are we all clear?" They just gave me a nodded and some answered 'yes'.  Agad na akong umupo at nakinig sa mga sinasabi ni Neil. This is just an orientation for the new musicians of the club. We also need to separate the singers and the ones who can play the instrument. 

As far as I know may incoming battle of the bands at music festival na kailangan I-organized ng music club. I was about to remind Neil when he started discussing about the upcoming event. I can't help myself not to stare at her. I don't know why I'm so fond of this kid. Napansin niya yata na may nakatingin sakanya kaya, ngunit umiwas siya pagkatapos mag tama ang aming mga mata.
