CHAPTER TWELVE

Juno POV

Buong gabi ko inisip ang kalagayan ni Calypso. Sa totoo lang, hindi ako gaanong nakatulog. She didn't told me what happened but I know there is something wrong about her. Noon ko pa 'yon napansin noong nakita ko siya sa fire exit. I really wanna know her problem at gusto ko makatulong. I can't see her suffering like that, hindi ako sanay. I'm a type of person who is always minding my own business but when I saw Cali yesterday, crying her heart out. I felt like I need to comfort her. 

Parang dinudurog ang puso ko na makita siyang nag kaka-ganon. I don't want that. "Juno let's surf." Aya sakin ni Aeos. Andito lang ako sa duyan. It's 8 am in the morning. I only had 4 hours of sleep dahil sinamahanan ko kagabi si Cali. I let her shy on my shoulder. We didn't talk that much. I just let her cry. That's all I can do. 

Hindi rin ako gaano nakialam kagabi dahil ayaw ko na sabayan siya. Baka kasi mamaya ay kung ano ang masabi ko na hindi niya magustuhan. I respect her that much, so I remain silent. And just let her emotions flow while I'm hugging her. I hope my presence helped her. 

Calypso need a peace of mind, and I'm going to give her that.

"Aeos, do you have an airplane available today?" I asked my friend before she go. "Hmm, nasa Tokyo yung dalawa kong private jet, I think si Helios lang ang available why?" Helios? Who the fuck is Helios? "Helios?" Confuse ko na tanong sakanya. "Oh, Hahaha it's my Helicopter. Nasa lucena siya. Bakit ba?" Ito lang kasi ang naiisip ko na paraan para mapagaan ang loob ni Cali. 

"Uh, Can I borrow it for this day?" I gave her my puppy eyes, I know Aeos can't resist my charm. "Give me a valid reason, because this is the first time. Juno. First time that you asked me a favor." Hindi makapaniwalang sabi nito. Hindi kasi talaga ako humihingi ng pabor because I hate being in debt to someone. But I can lower my pride for Cali. 

Woah wait. Did I just said I'm lowering my pride to Calypso? "Hey! Aguirre!" Sigaw sakin ni Aeos at kinaltok ang ulo ko. "Earth to Juno?" Shit, nawala ako doon ah. Sometimes, nakakagulat talaga ang mga impulsive decision ko. Maski ako naninibago sa sarili ko eh. "Well- uhm." Paano ko bang e-explain 'to shit naman. "Don't lie please, I know you man. Don't even try." Banta nito sakin. I gulped hard.

"I was just planning to visit someone in Bicol. Uh, visit mayon?" I'm not even sure on my own alibi. Aeos just looked at me, doubting. "Alam kong hindi 'yan ang rason mo. But alright I won't push you further. But the gas is not free." I didn't think twice. I don't care how much the gas fee is. Mas importante ang mental health ni Cali. "Call, you have my money. Ikaltas mo nalang kung magkano 'man." I saw Aeos smirked. "This person you'll visit is probably important. How unlucky." Binigyan niya ako ng nakakalokong tawa. 

Aeos grab her phone, mukhang may tatawagan siya. Lumayo muna ito saglit. I waited for her to return after 10 minutes. "Go to Sangley Airport in Cavite. You'll meet Helios there and my butler Fin." May butler pala siya, akala ko ba ayaw niya ng butler? "I thought-" She cut me off. "Masyado akong busy so I needed one. Shut up and get the fuck out of here. Isang oras ang biyahe papuntang Cavite. You can take the hummer, ipapabalik ko nalang sa butler ko." Sabi nito at ako ay tumango lang.
